We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with fresh ideas having passion & great acumen for ETL and data warehousing concepts. Strong working experience in Informatica Power Center, SQL and atleast any one scripting language is must. Good working knowledge in Agile model and should possess strong problem solving skills and handling critical situations. Must have good knowledge of database systems and should be able to write basic and complex queries and have idea of advanced SQL concepts. Should be familiar with both Windows and UNIX environment

Responsibilities :

• To interact with the Business, onsite/offshore counterparts to understand business requirement and transforming business rule into technical specifications.
• Responsible for all activities related to the development, implementation of ETL processes for large scale data warehouses using Informatica Power Center 10.5.
• Perform root cause analysis of job failures and propose solutions to perform complex troubleshooting.
• Involved in preparation of unit test cases and executing Unit test plan as well. Responsible for migration of informatica objects from one environment to another.
• Involved in performance tuning of mappings and sql queries for better performance and efficiency.
• Monitoring interfaces and informatica sessions, resolving on-going maintenance issues and bug fixes.
• Documentation for all the activities involved in different phases of development cycle.
• Should be able to identify the areas of improvement and re-engineering scope.
• Participating in discussions with cross commits.
• Helping other team members to resolve their technical issues.
• Mentoring the interns and new joiners.
• Monitor and report issues and work with the required team/vendor for quick resolution.
• Should be open to learn new technologies/tools.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science or similar field; or equivalent work experience.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience. -Strong knowledge on Data warehousing concepts.
• 7+ years IT experience in the analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance with experience in Informatica PowerCenter.
• Strong analytic, problem-solving, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Excellent SQL knowledge and ability to write the complex queries keeping performance aspect in mind - UNIX shell scripting.
• Strong proficiency in database optimization and RDBMS system.
• Experience with analysis of business requirements, designing and writing technical specifications to design.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Knowledge of any other scripting language Python.
• Knowledge to process mainframe files using Informatica Power Exchange.
• Mainframe knowledge is good to have.
• Knowledge on any job scheduling tool, TWS,TIDAL is preferred.
• Knowledge on Informatica cloud,IICS/IDMC.
• Familiarity on Bit Bucket,JIRA, Service Now.
• Knowledge on NoSQL databases.
