Design Data Models, ETL solutions and overall support as business and data analyst for BUK multiple domains.

• Ability to provide Technical help to team members and participate and contribute to relevant technical standards
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and strong Abnitio ETL background.
• Hands on experience for designing physical and logical data models using tools like visio, Erwin,E-R studio,etc
• Experience of designing ETL solutions in batch mode, real time interfacing with various databases e.g. Teradata, HDFS,Oracle, etc.
• Strong SQL skills to profile and analyze the data .
• Good documentation skills to document Functional and Technical Designs with appropriate diagrammatic illustrations using visio\ppt.
• Should be able to understand business requirement and convert them into correct technical specifications for the build team.
• Understanding of how retail banking products works or how digital platforms and services are offered to the customers will be an added advantage.

What will you be doing?

• Work in collaboration with infrastructure and IT team to design, create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture and data structures for data lake/data warehouse
• Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from variety of data sources using ETL and AWS(Cloud) Technologies
• Work with stakeholders including the executives, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data related technical issues and support their data analytical needs
• Streamline existing and introduce enhanced reporting and analysis solutions that leverage complex data sources derived from complex multiple internal systems
• Adhere to resilient and reusable component designs.
• Contribute broadly to data architecture work..
• Provide database design and support implementation teams.
• Responsible for creating work estimate, technical \ functional designs and projects plans .
• Conceptualize and quickly build POC for new product ideas - should perform well as an individual contributor and work with other data engineers and team members
• Lead and champion key activities to enhance the wider Technology team culture such as but not limited to: Citizenship, Knowledge, Process & Tools, Resource Assignment Management, Recruitment & Onboarding, Professional Development, Culture, and Unified PM.

What we’re looking for:

• Expertise in Batch \ Real Time ETL Solution skills along with performance enhancement knowledge
• Expertise in SQL and Data Analysis
• Strong knowledge of data and analytics, such as dimension modelling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data.
• Passionate about Agile Software processes, data-driven development, reliability and experimentation
• Experience designing and maintaining data warehouse in big data solutions

Skills that will help you in the role:

• B.E./B. Tech in Computer Science, Engineering or related degrees
• Experience with relational database such as Oracle, Teradata etc
• Big data knowledge including Hive, Impala, HDFS, Scala
• Experience of data modelling on both relational as well as big data platforms.
