The Lead UX Designer will work closely with customers, product management, engineering and leadership to take a persona centric approach in designing products and features that deliver true value through intuitive and delightful user experiences. That can only be achieved through deep user empathy, understanding the “why” behind every feature and an obsession with creating beautiful product experiences.
A day in the life:

• Create products and experiences for users across the insurance value chain
• Incorporate end-user empathy and in-depth understanding of user behavior in design decisions
• Partner cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams to drive strategy, design decisions, and priorities throughout the design process, from content to production
• Create user flows, wireframes and build user-interface mockups and prototypes
• Utilize data and research to inform design concepts and decision making
• Exemplify and foster Fairmatic’s humble, collaborative and impact-obsessed culture

• 5+ years of experience in software product design
• Experience with Figma, Sketch, and XD; experience creating micro-interactions using Principle, AfterEffects, and ProtoPie
• Experience with both B2C and B2B products is a plus!
• Ability to distill product, design and business goals into compelling roadmaps with short and long-term milestones
• Experience incorporating behavioral analytics and data in decision making
• Experience owning end-to-end user journey and design execution including vision, ideation, prototyping, user testing, final production and constant improvement post-launch
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering and Business teams to align on design vision

• Ability to think in unconventional ways with a healthy skepticism of the status quo
