HR Operations Team Lead

You will be working as Data Science Team Lead -People Analytics and global business operation based in Bangalore. In this role you will be responsible for taking full accountability for the end-to-end operations, delivering high-quality services against globally agreed performance targets. The HR Operations Team Lead ensures a high degree of customer experience by committing to a complete, accurate and timely completion of HR transactions.

Your responsibilities

• You will be a responsibility to have a partner with cross-functional and global teams to lead projects solving complex business problems using data science and advanced analytics to frame right questions and predict trends and lead teams to own complete analytics project lifecycle from requirement gathering, data extraction to reporting/ presenting the findings in IC role or with the team as per project needs.
• Should have a proactively use data science concepts to design methodologies and frameworks to connect business and people data together to identify and solve complex business problems and deliver impact on people experience, performance and culture.
• Must have excellent experience in programming ML languages like Python and MS Azure and effectively use data mining algorithms such as clustering, decision trees, logistic regression, ARMIA, Bayesian networks, neural networks etc.
• Apply appropriate techniques, such as exploratory data analysis, regression, bootstrapping, trees, cluster analysis, survival analysis, forecasting techniques and so on.
• Develop statistical models to support HR Analytics offerings and solutions and working on advanced statistical models to measure and improve on-going performance of employee metrics using unstructured data using NoSQL or Data lakes.
• Working with senior stakeholders to help them conceptualize People KPIs and build solutions from scratch, and have a strong bias towards creating clean, powerful, user-focused visualizations to deliver insights and analysis.
• Good to have a technology used could vary from Power BI, Advanced Excel, VBA, or any other new technology.
• Develop frameworks, plug n play solutions using predictive and machine learning techniques on Azure/ Python.

Your background

• A Master OR Degree in a Computer Science or Information Technology.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in Data science lead with project and people management, should have experience in AI and ML, forecasting data, python, azure, NLP.
• Must have programing and coding experience in R, Python or MS Azure and understanding of SDLC, ETL
• Good to have experience in designing and setting up Date Lakes and strong experience in finding data patterns and storytelling from disconnected data and business consulting experience will be good.
• 8+ years of developing end-to-end Decision Science solutions: data modeling, ETL and reporting.
• Nice to understand HCM systems like SAP and Workday is an added advantage and good to have excellent English, quantitative, technical, and Storytelling skills.
