EY- Cyber Security Architect – Technology Consulting – Senior Manager – Azure
As part of EY Cyber Security’s Cloud Security team, you shall be responsible for defining, implementing and marketing of strategic growth and sales for Cloud Security (consulting and implementation/migration). As an influential member of the team, you’ll help to create a positive learning culture, coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop.
The opportunity We’re looking for Senior Manager with expertise in cyber / information security concepts, risk and controls concepts, architecture, secure migration and integration in the Cloud Security realm. Your key responsibilities

• Defining, developing and implementing strategic go-to-market plans in collaboration with local EY member firms in Americas, EMEIA and APAC.
• Own end-to-end sales opportunity qualification and pursuit, including drafting RFP responses, proposal defence during Orals, drafting State of Work (SoW) leveraging expertise in scoping, solutioning and costing for Enterprise Cloud security solutions.
• Support and drive the overall growth strategy for the Cybersecurity practice as part of the leadership team.
• Identify and drive development of market differentiators including new products, solutions, automation etc.
• Support refinement of service approach and service delivery methodology for Enterprise and Cloud security solutions.
• Identify and pursue strategic opportunities for partnerships and acquisitions.
• Develop and rollout branding and marketing strategy including items such as solution brochures, sales videos, thought leadership, community engagement etc.
• Inspire and motivate direct and in-direct reporting professionals while fostering an environment of collaboration and participation.
• Sector expertise, integrated solutions building, and experience on large scale transformations will be a plus.

Technical Skills

• Experienced Azure architect specialised for developing solutions for Microsoft Azure cloud.
• Candidate should possess in-depth knowledge on Azure and its services not limiting to architecture of Azure, networking, Linux, designing Security, PowerShell scripting, NSG, WAF, Azure API management, Azure security centre, Akamai DDoS, Storage security, IAM, etc.
• Experience in architecting and designing technical solutions for Microsoft-centric solutions based on industry standards using Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS capabilities.
• Experience with any of the following: O365, Azure, Azure Stack, Azure AD
• Experience with claims based authentication (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), MFA, and RBAC
• Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
• Experience building and releasing infrastructure-as-code (IAC) in a controlled environment with an understanding of full lifecycle configuration management.
• Knowledge of coding/scripting to build required automation and tools using Chef, Ruby, YAML, JSON, Python, Bash, Azure CLI, PowerShell, Java, etc
• Experience around Docker and containers
• Experience around Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Must have experience around security controls applicable for cloud, product best fit analysis to ensure end to end cloud security covering different facets of architecture
• Layered security, Zoning, Integration aspects, API, Endpoint security, Data security, Compliance and regulations, Threat intelligence, Threat exposure and incident management aspects for the cloud deployments

Skills and attributes for success

• Deep technical understanding of architecture and solutioning of Enterprise and Cloud security including products and capabilities, service competitor landscape, pricing methodologies, brand positioning and management, etc.
• Deep knowledge of services and service delivery approach and methodology for Enterprise and Cloud security including governance and operating models.
• Proven track record and success in collaborative sales bringing together internal and external stakeholders across Cyber competencies, Digital & Technology practices (Engineering, Analytics, Automation etc.) and business functions (Branding & Marketing, Legal, HR etc.).
• Proven track record in building and maintaining trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel and flex work timings as and when required.
• Ability to change and adapt in a hyper-growth environment.
• Self starter and strategic thinker.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor or college degree in related field or equivalent work experience
• MBA (Good to have)
• At least 15 years of overall experience
• At least 10 years architecture and solutioning for enterprise and cloud security

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Project management skills
• Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) architecture certifications
• Certifications – CISSP, CCSP, CCSK etc.
