Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).



Project Contract Managers are supporting throughout the contract life cycle - with the target to prevent and minimize value leakage, maximize value capture and ensure contract adherence of all contractual partners.

Based on a sound experience and expertise in commercial roles within the Telecoms or IT industry the Project Contract Managers shall be acting as key enabler to implement the Contractual and Commercial strategy as set out under the terms of the contracts, and to ensure the realisation of the same during contract execution.

Main Responsibility

Pre-Sale Phase

Responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating MN technical and commercial contractual Annexures (e.g. SOR/SOW, Acceptance & KPIs, Project Plan/logistic, Technical Specifications, SLA for warranties & Care, Discount & vouchers, Roadmap Commitments, or any other contractual Annexures from contractual perspective) along with SME /SBMU during the Sales Phase.

Post-Sale Phase

Use the Contract Management levers during the execution phase to drive contract adherence, avoid value leakage, ensure the realization of the commercial strategy and support resolution of all commercial / contractual matters throughout the contract execution lifecycle, by

  • Provide detailed summary of key contractual terms, requirements and obligations during execution phase and establish processes for sustainable adherence.
  • Support contract interpretation, contract assessment and resolution of commercial / contractual matters, including changes, escalations of disputed contractual changes, renegotiations and extensions.
  • Establish the role as a continuous driver and challenger for protecting and improving the business case and consult for most efficient realization internally as well as with external partners.
  • Own and drive the contractual Claim, Change (SAW) process internally and moderate the Change Control Board.
  • Establish, ensure and maintain a high qualitative correspondence and documentation process.
  • Support contract renewal & closure activities by providing operational support as well as the commercially driven usage and application of learnings and experiences gained.
Competencies for Role
  • Strong ability and experience in drafting, negotiating, reviewing, and interpreting contracts, preferably in the telecommunications and/or IT industry
  • Knowledge of legal concepts, comfortable negotiating directly with the client.
  • Understanding and experience of contractual stipulations and the respective enforcement and consequences (focus area technical/operational aspects)
  • Commercial Management experience with understanding of various models.
  • Experience in Claim management, analysis, drafting and negotiation.
  • Solid skills in driving change and upsell during contract execution.
  • Understanding of financial and management accounting.
  • Knowledgeable about the telecoms industry and related regulations.

Personal Attributes & Experiences
  • Legal or commercial/contract management background with customer facing experience.

  • Driving discipline and focusing on minimizing risk level and contractual adherence.
