The Talent Development Operations Specialist works collaboratively across the Talent Development team to support coordinating all aspects of automating employee access to GTD solutions, managing GTD systems, reporting, dashboard maintenance etc. The key output of the role is to drive excellence in how GTD deploys its products, in order to create a positive learning experience for our employees.



What you will be doing:

    • Responsible for setting up, maintaining and developing OLX Group's learning experience system My Academy 2.0 (LXP: Degreed and LMS: Learn Upon)
      • Acts as a super user for L&D/talent systems and platforms (mainly My Academy 2.0)
      • Provide education and support to employees and managers on the use of the Learning/Talent tools
      • Work with Prosus My Academy team to proactively resolve ongoing system improvements and introduce new features as and when needed
      • Train administrators from functions who will be creating courses and managing the programs for their respective teams
      • Leads the effective implementation and ongoing maintenance of the LXP/LMS and all supporting tools, content, and technologies, roles, users, security, internal system notifications and other instructional technology user accounts
      • Manages the testing and evaluation of new features and tools that integrate with the LXP/LMS by facilitating and managing vendor vetting and training
      • Creates systems and workflows to ensure that all course resources are properly set up and available
      • Establishes and configures the LXP/LMS, including new courses
      • Utilizes project management to ensure successful development/implementation of course tools within the LXP/LMS
      • Tracks usage of the learning management system features to provide reports on trends
      • Facilitates the escalation of and resolution of IT issues connected to the learning management system and/or external tools
      • Identifying opportunities to utilize the learning management system to streamline processes and enhance learning culture at OLX
    • Work with Finance and HR effectiveness team to plan and track spent against the L&D global budget
    • Review and process engineer the end to end vendor management process which includes vendor registration, contract, vendor payments for global projects
    • Administer learning platforms like ACG, Pluralsight, Oreilly etc as an administrator
    • Preparing and analyzing program/initiative data around participation and course feedback with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy; identifying and proposing areas for improvement
    • Managing reporting around learning tools in terms of utilization and engagement of participants
    • Collaborating with People Analytics team in order to maintain the L&D dashboard
    • Responding to employee queries and fielding to other team members as appropriate ( via Service Now ticketing, My Academy or others)
    • Assisting with both Talent Development and companywide projects and initiatives related to employee capability building
    • Participate in efforts to improve data integrity, standardization, and automation of Learning process by proactively sharing ideas and suggestions
    • Maintain and develop OLX group GROW site and track site analytics, identify improvement opportunities for the best UX


Who we're looking for

    • 4+ years of previous LD/HR/IT or other relevant projects/platform management/ operational experience role in a big organization
    • Customer Service Oriented: Able to ask questions to understand customer needs: responding quickly, efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with OLX guidelines.
    • Strong computer skills, proficiency in the use of Google Suite or Microsoft Office programs, especially Ms Office, (excel is a must), havs natural curiosity to play around with platforms and suggest optimisation when needed
    • Strong project management and communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Analytical and detail-oriented with an ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to positively interact with multiple levels within the organization
    • Large-scale complex and multi-geo/language programs implementation experience would be beneficial [creating deployment plans with various and diverse stakeholders and customer groups;
    • Self-managing and able to work with multiple stakeholders and requests from within the team, curious, willing to ask for help, look around not wait to be told every step of the way
    • Should be able to prioritize work based on expected delivery and timelines
