Role description: Contribute to the GEC\xe2\x80\x99s success by establishing and driving the Talent Acquisition function, managing the implementation of the talent acquisition strategy to align with organisational needs and ensure achievement of business goals. Manage internal recruitment within the region and relevant global mobilisations with the HR team and reduce recruitment spend in the region. Manage the Talent Acquisition teams to deliver an effective and efficient recruitment function and look to reduce the recruitment costs. Role accountabilities:

  • The main responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop and deliver an agile Talent Acquisition strategy to support the overall business strategy.
  • Enable the business to achieve its recruitment needs and put in place a recruitment framework which includes a preferred supplier arrangement and in-house capability to meet business plan requirements and attract \xe2\x80\x98talent\xe2\x80\x99 to the organisation.
  • Work with the communications team to improve the employer brand in order to both maintain and increase candidate attraction.
  • Direct responsibility for strategic hiring including supporting end to end recruitment, attraction and selection process and management of senior stakeholders.
  • Manage a robust and informative business intelligence system and reporting framework that includes analysis, interpretation and distribution that will drive commercial decision making and manage risk / opportunity.
  • Consistently analyse external recruitment spend and cost per hire to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage projects across the group with the aim of improving recruiting effectiveness (i.e., Taleo transition, EVP, regional and international recruitment campaigns).
  • Build the internal capability of managers in recruiting.
  • Responsible for the line management, personal development and coaching of a diverse team.
  • Responsible for driving efficiency of working practices and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • A minimum of 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 minimum experience in Talent Acquisition roles, preferably in an engineering, technical or professional services organization.
  • Solid recruitment experience with a thorough understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process, employer branding and talent identification.
  • Proven track record of successful strategic and creative hiring/ staffing.
  • Unquestioned integrity and experience, confidence, and stature to effectively address senior executive level.
  • Commercial skills including understanding of operations, financial processes, benefits.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, influencing skills, flexibility and ability to adapt to change, and work effectively in a fluid, complex organization.
  • Extensive industry network.
  • Experienced people manager \xe2\x80\x93 proven experience of leading and inspiring a virtual team that delivers results.
  • Proven ability to drive efficiency through the adoption of appropriate technology and interactive ways of working.
  • A strong desire to play a central role in enabling business delivery
