As part of the Support Analyst role, key responsibilities are: Removing obsolete applications, databases & software to help keep Shell’s application environment safe & clean and up to date. The service includes physically removing assets, ensuring compliance with record, tax & legal requirements, management of approvals from business and IT stakeholders and co-ordination with various different teams to drive physical and logical decommissioning requests end-to-end. By joining decommissioning services, Analyst will have a unique opportunity to work in a challenging and diverse environment engaging stakeholder from across Business IT and developing your skills across a broad portfolio of activities. Together with the business and IT stakeholders the analyst identifies, agrees, initiates, and implements improvement opportunities. The analyst manages internal and external service providers and suppliers, ensuring the delivery via Shell partners in SAAS Suppliers, TSI and Managed Service teams as per the agreed contract terms, SLAs and KPI’s to ensure the service meets commitments and the business needs.

Accountabilities

• Gathering and documenting technical aspects of applications to decommission
• Engage key stakeholders to document requirement / data / record content of the application
• Gather formal approvals for implementing decommissioning solutions
• Document decommissioning specifications, solutions and approvals in a defined format for retention as a legal record
• Review and analyse decommissioning dashboards and prepare reports that will be utilized for service improvements and service review meetings

• No direct reports.
• Virtual working in a global environment with regionally and culturally diverse teams. Managing multiple delivery priorities. Working with multiple stakeholders in various organizations.
• Risks - License to Operate, Global reputation, millions at risk. Failure within these systems could have effects on Shell's reputation.
• Ability to work across multiple time-zones (India, EU)

Qualifications and Skills Mandatory

• Graduate / Postgraduate with 7+ years of IT experience and working knowledge on Business Analytics.
• Willing to work on cross-functional requirements
• Experience in applications support and support processes, specifically ITIL.
• Strong relationship skills to work with multiple stakeholders across organizational and business boundaries at all levels. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to deal with conflict, ambiguity, and work pressure effectively.
• Ability to handle concurrent tasks with appropriate priority.
• Ability to work in a virtual cross-cultural diverse environment with Shell and 3rd party stakeholders to accomplish objectives required to complete decommissioning requests.

Preferred

• Experienced in preparing summary report and dashboard for IT executives (Power BI)
• Certified on fundamental concepts of enterprise cloud platform and services
• Working knowledge on ServiceNow, Workflow Manager, RA Tool, ADIM, T-SAM tools.
• Knowledge on MS Visio will be an added advantage.
• Experience in ITIL Process - (Incident, Change, Problem Management etc.)
