Amazon\'s Ecommerce Platform team is expanding into Hyderabad and is in the process of building a technology team which will be responsible for building, enhancing, monitoring and supporting the Ecommerce Platform Services. Job Title: System Development Engineer I Job Location: Hyderabad, India Key Responsibilities: System Development engineers troubleshoot, debug, evaluate and resolve computer-identified alarms, make feature enhancements, bug fixes, systems management, perform software deployments and migrations, host management and automate routine operational tasks. The position requires a combination of strong troubleshooting, technical and communication skills and includes a mix of on call and operational tasks and involves small to medium level software development work. Responsible to develop tools and automations to achieve human free operations. They use the right tool for the job, and modify software in a way that leverages the overall system architecture. If you have a strong Application Support background, are interested in aggressive growth and have passion to develop tools at large scale, this is the opportunity for you. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Hyderabad, TS, IND BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience - Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems) - Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience with PowerShell (preferred), Python, Ruby, or Java - Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
