JD Head of Infrastructure and Operations

Head of Infrastructure and Operations is responsible for leading bank\'s infrastructure
and technology operations teams to support bank\'s plans for strategic growth.
Reporting to CIO of the bank, this position will provide leadership and vision driving
automation of our IT infrastructure leveraging on-premise and cloud technologies to
support business agility and maximize efficiencies. The leader will be data driven
utilizing key metrics to measure internal and external operational level agreements to
provide quality, reliable infrastructure; including workstations, servers, network,
telecommunication and Service Desk support services.

Key Responsibilities:

\xef\x82\xb7 Define the infrastructure and technology operations strategy to support the
business needs for scalability, growing demand for capacity and
associated Quality of service (e.g. performance, reliability and disaster
recovery measures).
\xef\x82\xb7 Define requirements for new technology implementations, including on-
premise infrastructure modernization and cloud migration, and
communicate them to key business and technical stakeholders.
\xef\x82\xb7 Drive implementation of industry best practices for IT Asset management,
Identity and Access Management, Capacity management, Incident and
Problem management, Business Continuity Plan and IT Service Desk
operation.
\xef\x82\xb7 Drive engagement with multiple Technology Service Providers for
implementing industry best practices across multiple process domains
related to Infrastructure and Operations.
\xef\x82\xb7 Drive the execution on infrastructure and technology operations initiatives
to achieve the expected scalability, performance and availability goals,
using internal and external resources. Assess and communicate risks
associated with infrastructure and operations proactively.
\xef\x82\xb7 Collaborate closely with governance, risk and compliance functions to
understand regulatory requirements of infrastructure and operations and
plan and implement those.
\xef\x82\xb7 Support business growth initiatives from an infrastructure readiness point
of view by aligning the technology vision with business strategy. Develop
business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for infrastructure
spending and initiatives.
\xef\x82\xb7 Develop and implement the service, people and management processes
necessary for delivering the right set of services at the right level for the
enterprise.
\xef\x82\xb7 Maintain and present to Executive team on a regular basis support metrics
such as critical issue escalations, issue volumes, staff productivity levels,
and overall health of software & infrastructure technology.

\xef\x82\xb7 Lead strategic technological planning to achieve business goals by
prioritizing technology initiatives and coordinating the evaluation,
deployment, and management of current and future technologies. Prioritize
across the business the long-term goals and roadmap for infrastructure
technology and operations.
\xef\x82\xb7 Conduct research to remain up-to-date and knowledgeable in regards to
industry trends and emerging technologies in anticipation of new business
needs and associated processes and system alterations.

\xef\x82\xb7 Minimum Bachelor\'s degree in the field of computer science or equivalent.
\xef\x82\xb7 15+ years\' experience of leading technological operations and
infrastructure teams, out of which, 10+ years\' of experience working in a
highly scalable and available on-demand solutions.
\xef\x82\xb7 Strong technical background in an environment with a variety of
infrastructure and networking devices and solutions, s servers, VMs,
storage devices, perimeter firewall, WAF, NIPS, NIDS, DDoS protection
devices, NAC, NTP servers and solutions for hardware and software asset
management.
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience with ITSM solutions and ability to align standardized processes
and services across each area of service management. Good
understanding of ITIL or similar framework.
\xef\x82\xb7 Demonstrated success leading IT modernization and transformation for a
technology company of comparable size with minimal disruption, especially
including global Cloud transformations, as well as DevOps evolutions.
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience in strategic technology planning, execution, and policy
development. Exposure to business processes, management, budgeting,
and business office operations.
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience of working in a regulatory environment, such as, banks,
insurance, telco and ability to collaborate strongly with governance, risk
and compliance functions of the organization.
\xef\x82\xb7 General understanding of project management principles with proven
experience in planning, organization, and development.
\xef\x82\xb7 Demonstrated ability to apply technology solutions to business problems.
