Job Description


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5+ years of systems engineering experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a technical manager
  • Experience supporting Data systems and BI applications
  • Experience with AWS services, Relational Databases, SQL
  • Proficiency with supporting and deploying scalable highly available Tier1 systems
  • Understanding of web services technologies such as REST, SOAP, HTTP, JSON

The PeopleInsight team is looking for a Manager to lead our data and BI applications support team. We are a diverse people analytics team, building products for the Global Operations business. Our data product portfolio has four pillars: insights that demand action, insights that inform decision, insights that indicate risk, and insights that drive automation.

We are now recruiting for an exceptional Support Engineering Manager, Global Ops HR

We are seeking a Support Engineering Manager to lead a team of talented support engineers in supporting, building and maintaining the technology that drives PeopleInsight products! You will be challenged to invent, create and solve challenging problems and mitigate risk, always ensuring a Customer Obsessed experience has occurred. Your team will be working on hardware, software, and infrastructure with a direct impact on the customer experience. Responsibilities include direct management of support engineers, sys dev engineers, process and operational improvements, project management, coordination of resources across teams and acting as an escalation point for both internal and external customers.

Successful candidates will be strong leaders who can prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of developing engineers and teams that deliver results. You will be part of the engineering leadership team and interact with hardware, software, and infrastructure engineering teams to raise the bar for Security, Automation, DevOps patterns, and operational excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Provide 24x7 support for PeopleInsight product portfolio that includes data platform, BI reporting, Machine Learning systems, web applications etc.
  • Lead automation efforts for a team advancing a service ownership culture.
  • Instill a culture that drives DevOps, hold a high-quality bar with code reviews, drive automation efforts to empower, and remove barriers for your team
  • Maintain current technical knowledge to support rapidly changing technology, always on a look out for new technologies and work with management and development team in bringing new technologies.
  • Complete analysis and present periodic reviews of operational performance.
  • Strong design, architecture, and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and delivery incrementally to the right direction
