Category Manager Summary :- At SupplyNote, we're passionate about digitizing the F&B industry. We are looking for an experienced strategic but hands-on, execution-oriented Category Manager. The candidate will be responsible for heading the end to end FMCG vertical and identifying key levers that will solve problems at scale for our customers while ensuring that it's a win-win-win partnership for the seller partners, the end customer and us!- Your work will impact the way the companies approach its FMCG category.Responsibilities :- Taking end to end responsibility of the PNL for the owned category (in this case it is FMCG/non-perishable category)- Build best possible understanding to explore growth opportunities for the mentioned category- Find, hire and train the right fit in the team to execute some of the core tasks like seller onboarding, listing, seller activation, negotiation, vendor hunting and purchase management- Acquiring and managing partnerships with emerging/leading FMCG brands and help them increasing their market share in HORECA segment- Identify, define and execute actionable to improve/optimize core business matrix like gross margin, direct cost and team's operating cost- Collaborate with cross functional team members(sales, operations and product) to drive initiatives which has potential to grow the mentioned category- Should be able to make intuitive sense of basic business data; E.g. which products will give better margin mix, which products will give us penetration, which products to stock, how much to stock, what to buy, when to buy and how much to buyWhat we are looking for :- Strong business acumen- Structured problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Proven ability to partner, communicate and manage/navigate through multiple functions(finance, operations, sales, product) and organizational groups with high stakeholder management skills.- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships- Understanding of the FMCG & HORECA landscape along with good deal-making/negotiation skills.- Collaborative  you have experience collaborating cross-functionally across the organization to dig out insights and create compelling narratives for partners.Qualification :- Someone Having existing and relevant network connections with FMCG brands are preferred- Graduate or any equivalent academic qualificationWhat do we do?- We all have been experiencing the added convenience of ordering food online due to the emergence of Zomato's and Swiggy's of the world providing mobility, accessibility and convenience in our food ordering experience.- Have we ever wondered about the people behind the show, the restaurateurs?- They put their best possible effort to make food delicious.
