Job Description
Storage Extensive Dell EMC storage experience with SAN and NAS technologies/products including the following: VNX, XtremIO, Isilon, HP 3Par
- Good knowledge & experience of VNX, XtremIO, Isilon, HP 3Par SAN & NAS technologies/products
- First point of escalation for all technical and process issues.
- Provide technical subject matter expertise wherever required
- Plan and upgrade DEll EMC / HP Storage all flash/hybrid Flare code/Microcode/Patch/Firmware updates.
- Should be well versed in Storage Virtualization concepts
- Review of daily/weekly/monthly checklist
- Performance analysis of the storage using OEM tools
- Knowledge on create storage pool, disk domain, file systems, LUN Group, Host Group and mapping to particular server.
- Working knowledge of Brocade & cisco switch administration
- Basic knowledge of Operation Systems / databases / VMWare
- Undertanding on backup DR and clients DR solutions
Preffered:
- Understanding of Service Now, strong communication, collaboration and teamwork skills
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills
- Good to have knowledge/experience on public cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
- Good to have knowledge/experience on scripting/automation using Perl, HTML, Java script, Python.
- Good to have ITIL V3 and/or any storage certifications
BE/B-TECH or any equivilant degree
