About the role : The State Growth Leader will lead user growth, drive increase in market share, execute all local-level below-the-line (BTL) marketing initiatives and on-ground activities in the specified zone. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving user growth through strategic planning, local trade marketing activities, and brand activations. As the State Head for user growth, we are looking for channel management and Trade marketing experts , the one who will be responsible for identifying business challenges and opportunities in the specified zone/State, recommending effective channel partnerships, and collaborating with stakeholders, cross functional teams to ensure flawless execution. Expertise in user acquisition,BTL activations, trade/ shopper marketing, and consumer insights will be essential in creating a strong funnel of users for Paytm. He will be a part of the newly built User Growth Team cutting across different businesses of Paytm and working with cross functional teams like Sales, Product and Tech. They will be accountable for the user growth target for the allocated state. The individual will be leading a team of City Heads who will own and drive the User growth and Market share in the designated cities, leveraging on-ground execution excellence Expectations / Requirements: 10 years of experience With a strong background of go to market and sales (preferably from FMCG background or Large Pharmaceutical) Candidates should be well versed with the geography. Should have understanding of levers of driving user acquisition and P/L accountability. Must have exposure to working in the specified state - Adept on Consumer and Channel nuances Trade Marketing, Brand activation Key Responsibilities: Design and lead user growth campaign in the assigned territories basis localized use case and consumer cohorts Spearhead the Offline Channel of the allocated zone to Increase brand visibility through effective Trade/Shopper marketing activities. Work with network of channel partners and Field Service Agents /agencies to help drive on-ground initiatives and activities. Drive initiatives to increase user on platform, share of transactions (online and offline), propel Paytm market share and brand penetration Utilize data-driven insights to drive customer acquisition through various data sets and offline channels Bring strong Regional and local insights to sharp focus initiatives and undertake activations/initiatives Setup a network of vendors/agencies to work along with for helping drive on ground initiatives and activities Why Join us: A collaborative output driven program that brings cohesiveness across businesses throughtechnology.
