The opportunity : Associate Vice President-FS-SaT-Transaction Diligence - Mumbai/Delhi/Kolkata/Chennai

SaT :

The Transaction Diliegence competency is an integrated approach to diligence that enables Strategy and Transactions sub-service lines and competencies to work together more effectively. It is a mindset change that encourages our Strategy and Transactions competencies to go-to-market with a more integrated and value-driven approach to diligence.

Transaction Diligence advises corporate and private equity clients on buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence. We work closely with Capital Transformation and Transaction Tax to deliver integrated due diligence that considers not only the financial impact of a transaction, but also the commercial and strategic priorities, regulatory risks, operations and synergies to maximize the value of the transaction for our clients.

Transaction Diligence :

Strategy and Transactions enables clients to reimagine ecosystems, reshape portfolios and reinvent for a better future. Using our Capital Agenda framework, we work with clients to find answers to today\'s toughest strategic, financial, operational and commercial questions. We help corporates, private equity, governments, sovereign wealth funds, private and family businesses, and educational institutions with their key financial issues. From portfolio review and capital allocation processes to financial planning analytics and decision support, we have the people, analytics and tools to better allocate capital. Our team helps clients manage their risk/return trade-offs to support them with better decision-making around financing and capital efficiency.

Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

• Provide support to the team in efficiency and productivity of managing an engagement
• Support on marketing pitches
• Lead and deliver on data analysis and financial analysis relating to engagement
• Lead and deliver engagement specific market research focus on performance and benchmarking
• Able to thrive in relatively unstructured situations
• High level understanding of business valuations and their drivers
• Strong understanding of financial services as a domain especially in lending, asset management or insurance [one of the three]
• Good communication both written and oral (including report writing)
• Analytical, problem solving and basic conflict management skills
• Should be well conversant with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Preference will be given to candidates who are Transaction diligence professionals, have audit experience and/ or worked with the Big 4 CA firms, rating agencies, have been in analytical and portfolio management roles in NBFCs and similar credit organisations.
