Summary GE Power Conversion is seeking to hire Global SAP Operations Leader. As an Operations Leader, you will be responsible for all Power Conversion SAP ECC applications support including change management/enhancements following the ITIL framework. Responsibilities include managing day to day operational support activities for all the PC SAP ECC applications and associated interfaces / bolt-ons. The SAP Operations leader will ensure operational excellence with responsibilities including incident, request and change management, delivery SLAs, support coverage, and application provisioning compliantly. Also, will be responsible for the overall application cyber health including performance and availability, obsolescence opportunities, and vulnerability mgmt. (EVM/AVA). Essential Responsibilities: In this role, you will: Manage the service support and delivery for the PC SAP ECC applications Coordinate with business stakeholders and cross-functional partners to ensure adequate operational support is managed Drive customer communication during critical events and lead retrospective meetings Drive projects that improve customer experience, application process or performance with minimal guidance Coordinate with solution architects and various other teams to understand the possible cross-functional impacts and mitigate risks Analyze incident trends, and design solutions to address root causes and improve the system. Work with the team to develop, test, and implement these solutions Partner with SAP Architect and Solutions architects on new service introductions, change, and transition to operations (TTO) Ensure quality of the deliverables, participate in design, code, change control reviews Investigate the possibilities of automation for self-service of end user support Establishes governance structure that identifies key performance indicators, sets milestones, and establishes a reporting cadence with stakeholders. Lead teams of contractors to deliver technology solutions to business incidents and change requests Drive a higher level of customer satisfaction by improving support team quality, knowledge, and training Manages support contract and vendor relationship to drive high quality deliverables and productivity Education Qualification Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or \'STEM\' Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Minimum 8 years of IT professional experience in leading SAP ECC ERP application support or delivery services in a global organization Have functional expertise in at least one of the modules: SD, MM, PP, QM, FI or CO Desired Characteristics Technical Expertise: Good experience leading multi-discipline technical teams, across multiple different functions Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Strong problem solving and analytics skills including debugging Resiliency and the ability to manage multiple priorities and evolving enhancements / change requirements across multiple regions Strong experience in customer facing roles with ability to evaluate decisions through the eyes of the customer builds strong customer relationships creates processes with customer viewpoint partners with customers Apply values, policies, procedures, and precedent to make timely, routine decisions of limited, clear choice Resolve day-to-day issues related to strategy implementation.
