Job Description

The Manager - Finance reports to Chief Financial Officer of ProArch Group. Hence, this person is expected to be independent and take responsibility for the compliances and financial processes of ProArch India. The role expects frequent interactions internally with the directors of ProArch India as well as business heads in India and USA/UK as well as externally with bankers, auditors and other service providers as required. The Sr. Manager Finance is expected to work collaboratively across the Finance and Business Teams across several geos to fulfil the expectations from this role.

Duties and Responsibilities (ProArch India related):

  • Financial Planning and implementation (inc cash flow management)
  • Daily and Monthly financial activities on time, assist with creating and monitoring business/ department budgets
  • Appropriate reports of several types; not just financial reports but management reports too including project analysis
  • Internal controls and cost savings
  • Creating and monitoring company policies and internal controls especially cost/spending controls and improving efficiency
  • Compliance
  • Ensuring compliance with local laws, tax provisions and relevant industry and financial regulations
  • Risk Management
  • Forecasting and minimizing risk with well thought and implemented plans
  • Leadership and Stakeholder management
  • Mentoring and managing a team including employees and contractors
  • Managing internal pressures from different stakeholders and ensuring processes and compliances
  • Managing the relationships with Bankers, auditors and other professionals.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in a technology services company performing various functions. Experience in a SEZ located technology services company would be a plus
  • A Chartered Accountant (CA) degree is a must
  • The person is expected to have a strong knowledge of tax principles and financial processes. Knowledge of US GAAP would be a plus
  • Leadership skills. Must have led teams
  • Presentation and negotiation skills.
  • The person could settle into the role faster if the person has a good understanding of the businesses in Tech Services industry. If the person understand cloud related services and/or cyber security services, it is a plus.

Other expectations from the person:
  • Strong background in preparation of financial reports
  • Experience in implementation of an ERP is a plus
  • Strong skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint or equivalent.
