About the role: We are the conversation team in Xperi (Inventors of IMAX, DTS, HDRadio, Tivo Stream, etc) who makes things happen!, and this is your unique opportunity to be part of a team that will be developing the next generation of conversation product with ML and AI at its core!. You will also be part of an inventor team that generates a multitude of patents year on year! Our conversation product is used by millions of customers worldwide to discover entertainment in a very intuitive yet human way. If you are a dedicated and can-do candidate who can think out-of-the-box and can work in an extremely interesting, ambiguous, and futuristic environment, you will fit right in!. Job purpose: As a member of this team, you will be:

• Involved in both strategic and tactical initiatives i.e creating roadmap features and support the existing customer in adding new languages which humans speak!
• Enhancing existing NLP Models, developing new ones, so that we don’t misinterpret any conversation whether it be an adult or a child.
• Own the architecture, design, and coding of intuitive features and support till launch to a million users.
• Review API and protocol specifications to assure proper compliance are met.
• Effective communication/healthy debates with other members of the team and third parties to ensure your designs align with the overall project goals.
• Be part of various guilds like Architect’s Guild and form crack teams that work towards making our Convo product remain State-Of-The-Art and the Go-To conversation product in the entrainment space.

Here’s what you get to do:

• Participating and occasionally lead daily scrum meetings(Agile Scrum Process)
• Design and Develop upcoming NLU/Voice features(Daily Development)
• Brainstorming/Grooming sessions for upcoming features
• Mentor Intern/SE’s and plan training schedule
• Represent team in stakeholder meetings
• Create and Collaborate to create new IP/Patents
• Present concepts and technical whitepapers to management

Who we are looking for

• 4-7 years of professional experience with a computer science background
• Excellent Team player and a high achiever in previous roles.
• Good at Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Good in Python programming, having C programming skills is a plus.
• Experience/Good understanding of designing large-scale systems.
• Experience/Good understanding of AWS (Amazon Web Services), cloud deployment techniques like docker, Kubernetes, microservice architecture is a plus.
• Experience/Good understanding of ML, NLP, Deep Learning is a plus

Education:

• B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field; M.S. is a plus
