Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Engineer/Sr Engineer - Electrical to join our Infrastructure group in Gurugram.

As the successful candidate, you will:

Assist the Engineering Manager/Lead Electrical Engineer with the delivery of project requirements as they relate to scope, cost and schedule.
Prepare, subject to the approval of the Lead Electrical Engineer, technical documentation required for the execution of the project, including but not limited to general layout drawings, design criteria, design calculations, preliminary studies, value engineering studies, process flow sheets, standard specifications, standard detail drawings, construction and/or fabrication drawings, equipment lists, technical specifications, as-built documentation, and data sheet.
Review shop drawings to ensure conformity with engineering designs.
Design and prepare Single Line Diagrams
Be responsible for lighting Design calculations using Dialux
Be responsible for Cable sizing, voltage drop and short circuit Calculations and Cable Schedules.
Create Electrical Layout drawings like lighting layouts, earthing layouts & Cable tray layouts
Create specifications for Electrical Equipment and items.
Review of Electrical Equipment Drawings of Manufacturers
Prepare and compile necessary calculations to support System designs.
Be Designing and drawing for lightning protections.
Be responsible for preparation of tender documents such as drawing, BOQ, Costing and specification.
Be responsible of designing electrical systems, equipment selection, and other related processes for transit projects, metro stations and tunnels.
Coordinate with client, project managers and vendors to ensure on time delivery of projects as per schedule and requirements.
Mentor young engineers/designers.
Be responsible for assistance/participation in on-site commissioning.

You bring to the role:

BEng / B-Tech in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 15 years design/project engineering experience in Electrical design; minimum five years in Infrastructure projects.
Experience in electrical design/consultancy ideally within a similar large engineering or multi-disciplinary project environment.
Should have infrastructure project experience involving BIM execution.
Strong English writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Good planning and organizational skills.
Ability to function with minimal supervision.
Ability to function as a member of a multidisciplinary team and coordinate electrical activities between disciplines.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint.
Safety awareness

Preferred

Use and knowledge of ETAP, SKM, AGI 32, CDEGS et
Experience in Metro rail project for electrical system.
Sound knowledge of 3D data centric design systems.
Ability to delegate tasks and effectively supervise others.
Experience in the use of procedures and workflows in the execution of projects.
Education: Any Graduate
