The Sr. Project Manager - HRIS role is to plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the design, development, and implementation projects of ServiceNow HRSD and Workday systems. The role is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and upgrading project management and Agile practices across projects. This individual will apply confirmed communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to run scrum ceremonies using agile methodology and ensure successful completion of projects. This role will also be responsible for setting up and facilitating the various agile ceremonies, including the daily scrum, increment and sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. The PM should also remove obstacles or distractions that affect the team during the sprint. Our PM / Scrum Masters are a critical part of the team to drive the execution being proactive and responsive
The ideal candidate will:


  • Handle end to end phases of Service Now and Workday development/enhancement Projects.

  • Leading daily scrum ceremonies as scrum master and supporting delivery team in successful completion of projects

  • Ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.

  • Review and analyze existing application effectiveness and efficiency, collaborate with delivery team in developing strategies for improving or bring to bear these systems.

  • Demonstrable experience in implementing HR technology projects- Workday HCM and Service Now HRSD modules.

  • Handle the coordination required for development and deployment of new applications, systems software, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise.

  • Ensure that any new software integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.
    • Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications.

  • Handle and provide direction for the application development team in support of business operations.

  • Collaborate with other delivery managers and programmers working on development project teams.

  • Cultivate, disseminate, and enforce functional policies, procedures, and quality assurance standard methodologies.

  • Identify and address known and unknown gaps in the current Monitoring & Production Support processes

  • Perform business analysis and problem resolution through software development life cycle in support of business-critical applications

  • Translate requirements into work breakdown structure and technical designs.

  • Must have experience defining, reporting, and using metrics to manage project performance.

  • Candidate must be experienced using project management methodologies (Infrastructure, Waterfall, Agile)

  • SOX Audit Coordination & Action Plan Development: Assist HR Risk Office with the audits and facilitate management response and remediation efforts. Verifying appropriate remediation measures are taken and effectively completed. Ensure overall IT compliance with regulatory requirements including SOX through proactive planning and communication, ownership and relationships.

  • Develop dashboards for reporting key metrics

Experience

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in HCM ERP modules , with 6+ experience in supporting and managing HR Technology projects for applications like Workday and ServiceNow HR modules

  • Hands 'on experience in leading increment and sprint planning sessions is a must.

  • Thorough knowledge of Scrum/Agile methodology

  • Desired modules worked up on would be Onboarding, Digitization of employee records, Service Center modules. Must have led and managed projects on these modules.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven experience in leading all aspects of the direction, development, and implementation of software solutions.

  • Direct, hands-on experience with project management tools like Jira, ITBM , Confluence etc.

  • Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.

  • Extensive experience with core software applications, including Service Now
