. Network & Security Administrator Birlasoft is looking for Network & Security admin to join its fast-paced and results-oriented team. Challenges include balancing traditional network engineering technologies with security services. Support day-to-day operations of Network and Security services. . Prepare and maintain up to date documentation detailing configuration of deployed solutions. Generates network configurations, if required. . Be part of a network operations team whose daily responsibilities include performance day-today management and support of the production network. . Regular interaction with client service teams as well as technical experts from different vendors or providers. . Operate candidly and with respect. Honestly accept failures and respond quickly to corrective actions . Participation in evaluation and execution of Demands Experience/Technical Skills required: . BS Degree or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and work experience. . Candidates MUST have a minimum of 7 years networking experience . Experience across Network security administration; installation and configuration of IT Networks, maintenance, troubleshooting and network user management with expertise in installation, upgradation, configuration and support of LAN & WAN hardware, routers, switches, firewalls, Wireless access points & controllers. . Thorough understanding (Packet level) of IP Packet flow, OSI model . Layer 3 - IP and related technologies (ICMP, TCP, GRE, QoS, VRRP) . IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, RIP) . Layer 2 technologies (Ethernet, 802.1q/p VLAN, STP, RSTP, ARP, PPP, MLPPP, LACP) . Working experience on various network technologies: Access-list, prefix list, offset list, distribution list, Route map Dynamic & Static NAT, PAT . Understanding/Exposure/Expertise in one or more areas - MPLS, VPLS, L2 and L3 VPN . Good Hands-on experience regarding Firewalls (ASA/Palo Alto/Fortinet/Checkpoint) . Cisco Firepower Next Generation Firewall FX-OS, Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD), Firepower Management Console (FMC). . Understanding of VPN technologies (IPsec & SSL VPN) . Radius, TACACS knowledge and good Hands-on experience like Cisco ISE. . Understanding and working knowledge of Riverbed WAN Optimizer. . Good Hands-on IPAM tools like Infoblox and QIP. . Understanding, Implementation and working Knowledge of SD-WAN Solutions like Cisco Meraki, Velocloud and Others. . Understanding, Implementation and working Knowledge of Wireless access points and controllers. . MPLS Traffic Engineering, LDP, RSVP . Multicast technologies NG-MVPN, PIM . Thorough understanding DNS/DHCP/IPAM Management (preferred on Infoblox solutions) . Experience across Network administration; installation and configuration of Infoblox DNS, DHCP, IPAM, NTP and IT Networks, maintenance, troubleshooting and management with expertise in installation, upgradation, configuration and support of Infoblox DNS. . Hands-on experience on Other DNS, DHCP Products like QIP, Microsoft DNS, AWS Route 53 DNS. . Hands-on experience on AWS Route 53 DNS Infrastructure and AWS cloud knowledge. . Manages SSL/TLS Certificates associated with the Certificate Authority (CA). . Monitor Public (External) and Managed PKI (Private/Internal) CA SSL/TLS Certificates for upcoming expiration dates. . Perform proactively all needed tasks for maintaining and restoring functionality, Daily Logs checks of Infoblox DNS, DHCP, NTP, Network devices. . Applying industry best practices to the design, planning, and implementation of the Infoblox, DNS, network. . Understanding, Implementation and working Knowledge of Disaster recovery and Business continuity planning of Network. . Experience in Service Provider world is highly desired. Expertise in interfacing with carriers to manager circuit delivery, troubleshooting and migration. . Troubleshooting the network design and architecture issues . Analyzing network and device configurations. Problem-solving ability (Troubleshooting, resourcefulness). Ability to recognize and respond quickly to critical matters. . Solid knowledge of SNMP, QoS. . Experience with Network monitoring tools such as Solarwinds, ManageEngine, PRTG, Cisco Works, Sniffer, Nagios etc. . Vulnerability assessment of Network devices. . Patch Management of Network devices. . Network device security hardening. . Interacting with TAC Support and Third party providers . Providing network design leadership; assisting in identifying and building solutions . Providing deployment guidance to ensure that implementations are consistent with design specifications . Supervising responsibilities includes interviewing/training/coaching team members through informal workshops to transfer knowledge to engineering staff . Participate in team projects and project/technology transition . Applying industry best practices to the design, planning, and implementation of the network . Applying extensive industry experience to optimize network performance and proactively analyze potential enhancements . Evaluating technical specifications for interoperability . Creation of network documentation from the existing infrastructure, planned infrastructure as well as updating existing documentation . Handling Technical Escalations received from Customer. . Understand and follow Service Level Agreements (SLA) within teams & vendors . Follow Various Industry Standard Process in-terms of Incident Management, Change Management, Problem management, etc. . Experience in Multi-vendor environment will be added advantage . Preferred Certifications: CCNA & CCNP (routing & switching) or CCDP, CCIE or equivalent .
