Job Responsibilities
Thermofisher' s CIS organization is looking to hire a passionate Sr Infrastructure Architect and a Technical Leader/Manager. You will lead strategy, architecture and delivery of next generation global IP-based solutions using on-premise and cloud-based technologies -covering Data Centers, Global WAN, Branch connectivity, SD-WAN, Edge devices, Wireless, VoIP/Collaboration & Service Provider Integrations. You will collaborate with technical teams from service providers and strategic partners (AT&T, Microsoft, AWS, Silver Peak, Ribbon ) for integration and rollout of cloud-based infrastructure capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced global environment and will be seen as a change agent. This is a senior level position with broad responsibilities and visibility within the CIS organization.

- Infrastructure inventory, resource lifecycle management & automation
- Technical and Cost Analysis of competing solutions
- Operational reporting tools and proactive network monitoring of global VoIP solutions
- Supporting businesses and locations in the multiple geographies and time zones
- Technical architecture documentation
