The opportunity

• The incumbent will work closely with the relevant site people and the appropriate R&D and MS&T teams within Teva to ensure successfully introduce/validate site transfer and new product to production at site in order to facilitate successful on-time product launches.
• The incumbent will focus on managing technical activities in support of current commercialized products within Gajraula site. Support commercialized products include but not limited to process validation, process improvement/robustness, new API introduction and support deviation and CAPA closure.
• Product Evaluations- evaluation of new process for execution at site, Capex estimation and timeline proposal, coordination cross-functional team for the same.
• Technology Transfer - Provide technical expertise and lead to the Technology Transfer Team within Site to successfully implement new technologies/products and ensure on-time product launches: implementation and execution of new products and Site transfer products.
• End-to-End Project coordination for New Products and Site Transfer Products. Scale up of new products for commercial production.

Long Description

• Process Engineering - Provide technical leadership in commercial manufacturing processes by taking a lead in performing process analysis of existing process by identify area of improvement, develop remediation plans and execution of remediation plans.
• Capacity mapping, Routing & Plant Capacity utilization and optimization. Benchmarking of utility operations & utility rationalization and optimization. Performs technical and scientific evaluations, analysis and risk assessments related to all aspects of unit operations, from product formation to equipment performance and process execution. To support regulatory inspections, new product registrations, responses.
• Ensure product cost competitiveness through yield improvement and Solvent recycling.
• Process Validation, Troubleshooting & Root cause analysis, and Change Management
• Process Safety - Providing Technical Support for Process Safety risk assessment like HAZOP, HIRA etc.,
• EHS : Providing technical support for effluent treatment plant and Environment compliance (Like Environment clearance certificates and effluent mass balance etc.,)
• New Technology evaluation and implementation.

Your experience and qualifications

• B.E. /M.E. /B. Tech/M.Tech. (Chemical)
• 15+ years of experience (preferably) of working in API industry. The candidate should have good experience in tech transfer/process engineering
• The person should have prior experience of handling a team.
• Self-Motivated, Go Getter and result oriented approach and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
