Process Overview*
ARQ supports global businesses of the Bank with solutions requiring judgment application, sound business understanding and analytical perspective. The domain experience in the areas of Financial Research & Analysis, Quantitative Modeling, Risk Management and Prospecting Support provide solutions for revenue enhancement, risk mitigation and cost optimization. The division comprising of highly qualified associates operates from three locations i.e. Mumbai, Gurgaon & Hyderabad.
We facilitate information advantage with Analytical/Data science solutions across Bank by supporting multiple lines of business and control functions through CDSO organization.

Individual will be closely working with ARM-CDSO team providing qualitative, quantitative and Machine Learning support to Chief Data Science Organization on the state side.
Individual will be part of the Chief Data Scientist Organization (CDSO), will work in one of the sub functions which includes data quality Development, insights and model development, performing data mining ,data research, data effort in an evolving data environment. This position must have strong technical skills, superb Business process analysis and interpersonal skills. The ability to extract and analyze data, understand and business requirements and translate into design, Develop / enhance the codes. Individual should be Passionate about finding insights in large data sets working with diverse business groups. Able to work independently or in a team on complex projects

Responsibilities

• Data mining or extracting usable data from various data sources and analyze large amounts of data to find patterns and solutions
• Enhancing data collection procedures by processing, cleansing, and validating the data to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems
• Using machine learning tools to select features, create & optimize classifiers.
• Build predictive models and machine-learning based models as needed and propose solutions and strategies to tackle business challenges
• Combine models through ensemble modeling and present information using advanced data visualization techniques
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to enhance enterprise information products.

Requirements :

• Education : Post graduate from Tier I / Tier II institutes
• Experience : 6 to 8 years

Foundational skills*

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in Analytics and interacting with US markets
• Hands-on experience with data science tools like SAS, R and Python, problem-solving aptitude and have analytical mindset.
• Hands on experience with data extraction tools like SQL, SAS and build efficient algorithms to extract large amounts of data
• Statistics - Good applied statistical skills, including knowledge of statistical tests, distributions, regression, Time series, maximum likelihood estimators, etc.
• Machine Learning - good knowledge of machine learning methods like k-Nearest Neighbors, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Trees.
• Experience with Data Visualization Tools like matplotlib, ggplot, Tableau that help to visually encode data
