Prepare and execute a dynamic sales strategy for selected State Governments (and other accounts as may be assigned, incl. para-public accounts) and market segments to ensure the organisation maintains 80% of the market share for future business in the selected states.
Understanding of Political, Bureaucratic, and Regulatory environment at the Country and State Levels.
Lead and/or participate in the Front Office team for assigned accounts.
Develop and execute Sales strategies and conduct all sales activities for her/his accounts, including cash collection.
Take accountability to generate new qualified leads to convert them into bookings and also ensure smooth delivery.
Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction for your assigned state gov, para-public, and other accounts.
Achieve booking targets and financial objectives (Gross Margin, Down payments, Cash collection) for the assigned accounts.
The Successful Applicant
Professionals from the Armed forces background ( Indian Army/ Indian Airforce/ Indian Navy) with a minimum 3 years of experience in corporate OR
15+ years of prior experience in running a governmental sales campaign, preferably in a heavy capital equipment company in India
A strong understanding of the Defence Acquisition Procedure
