Education qualification: B Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineer / Electrical. Or Degree in relevant subjects Experience : 3 years of experience in procurement handling domestic/ Imports raw material handling, sheet metal, etc. Preferable Industry : Automobile Industry/ Door Industry/ Refrigeration/ Construction/ Key Responsibilities and Authorities 1. Plan & execute import procurement for materials and services. This includes sourcing, negotiating, and awarding of contracts and orders for materials and services that meet the required specifications and quality standards. 2. Plan & execute logistics of import goods in the most suitable model 3. Plan & execute local sourcing and monitor cost-effectiveness. 4. Identify new sources for cost-effectiveness, product quality, delivery & consolidation of sources. 5. Plan & execute programs like vendor-maintained inventory, just-in-time supplies etc. 6. Monitor & plan stocks for minimum inventory & no shortages/ line stop 7. Ability to use ERP systems and prepare Procurement-related Reports. 8. Prepare reports of various kinds related to Procurement for tracking. Characteristics 1. Honest and trustworthy 2. Demonstrate sound work ethics 3.
