Primary Responsibilities:

• Communicate and manage project vision with project leadership team to ensure an understanding of the plan and scope, in conjunction with the company's commitments and customer expectations.
• Lead project teams through proper Agile practices within the overall Collins agile transformation strategy.
• Conduct full Agile ceremony, including sprint planning, grooming, stand-ups, demos and retrospectives to ensure value is provided to the customer/requestor and business objectives and goals are met.
• Maintain healthy backlog of well written stories that are development ready.
• Work with developers and Product Management for effective story point estimating.
• Work with development team and product manager for effort estimation.
• Build highly effective project teams and establish effective relationships with impacted departments and functional areas.
• Communicate expectations and instill accountability in team members.
• Resolve conflicts, promote work sharing, and motivate teams toward common goals.
• Escalation of issues, along with proposed plan, to leadership
• Make timely and sound business decisions that support the business objectives of Collins Aerospace.
• Summarize and present key information to senior leadership enabling them to make decisions.
• Manage multiple projects, tasks, and resources through effective organization, prioritization, and time management practices to meet operational objectives.
• Participate in continuous process improvement and lean initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

• These positions require a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and at least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc project management methodologies
• Experience with application lifecycle management platforms such as Team Foundation Server, Jira, Azure Dev Ops or similar tools
• Experience building and managing schedules in MS Project.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multiple project methodologies including agile and waterfall
• Agile certification
