We are looking for a Senior Content Analystto Support the Team Manager forour team in India. This is an amazing opportunity to work on our award-winning multimedia products in the in the academic and K-12 markets. The team consists of 10-12 multiskilled Content Analysts and is reporting to the Team Manager. We have a great skill set inacademic content to complete media ingestion (video, text and audio), bibliographic and descriptive metadata application for curated content databases and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in leading online product processes and releases as well as knowledge of common library metadata standards and subject classifications. About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments 3-5 years' experience in team management support, ability to thrive in a matrix management organization Ability to meet deadlines and follow workflows across multiple systems Demonstrable ability to thrive in a growing and changing environment through flexibility, creativity, and a positive attitude Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to write effective, accurate article summaries Familiarity of HTML, SGML, XML and manipulating content schemas for a variety of media formats the ability to leverage scripting languages and command-line interfaces to support import of content sets Knowledge of controlled vocabularies and demonstrable familiarity and/or expertise with one or more academic subjects such as literature, the performing arts, the social sciences, and/or world history Facility in sharing best practices and knowledge, conducting training, and giving feedback Strong QA and QC skills Ability to navigate online databases and search browsers It would be great if you also had . . . Knowledge of common library metadata standards and subject classifications Ability to effectively lead and support small teams and projects Understanding of delivery methods for electronic content (FTP, Web, RSS, Email, Cloud-based) and various media storage methods and devices What will you be doing in this role Ensure text formatting, image placement, captioning, metadata, subject terms, topic indexing, abstracting, web linking, and other editorial enrichmentare completed in a timely and accurate manner, meeting both throughput and quality targets Identify and report problems that may affect your ability to meet these targets demonstrate responsiveness to feedback and ability to collaborate in efforts to improve workflows where necessary to ensure targets are met and ultimately exceeded Provide input to estimates on throughput targets, creating project plans as required to scope and manage content updates Support other Curation staff be able to explain the team's indexing tools and processes when asked Create, edit, and update project-related documentation Enter data into content management systems Perform document control, end of production cycle completeness, and accuracy tasks as assigned Review and identify source materials for product inclusion based on criteria and budget Train and share knowledge to improve processes and efficiencies where possible Report and track progress against goals Track, report, and resolve issues and needed improvements Other assignments as needed within the above skillset About the Team As a member of the Curation team, you will work collaboratively with the broader Content Operations group that creates content for our product portfolio, helping libraries, faculty, students, publishers, and other information professionals discover content and context in support of their research and learning. The role will be based in India with the opportunity for remote workplace assignment. As a Senior Content Analyst focused on leading content processing, metadata application, and quality processes within the Curation group of ProQuest-a part of Clarivate-you will be part of a team of curators that processes content and applies bibliographic and descriptive metadata across a variety of product lines and media types.
