Description The EBS team provides development, maintenance, and support services for TNS back-office business applications and processes. This includes support for existing legacy Billing in regular Billing cycle activities alongside Accounting personnel. This function also provides as needed support for the in-flight effort to refactor all Billing applications onto the force.com platform. A Day In The Life Could Include: (job responsibilities)

• • Proven ability to be trained to follow Billing cycle activity checklists
  • Proven ability to work collegially with Accounting during Billing cycle activities
  • Proven ability to be trained to follow Billing cycle activity checklists
  • Proven ability to work collegially with Accounting during Billing cycle activities
  • Ability to understand and actively work Billing cycle workflows, including accommodating small problems, process restarts, etc.
  • Ability to work independently while also knowing when to escalate problems immediately to senior team lead(s) for resolution
  • Supervisory experience/aptitude
  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning and understanding complex workflows. This includes understanding dependencies and the function of each step
  • Understanding of Billing processes, including but not limited to mediation, rating, tiered pricing plans/recurring charges, taxation
  • Monitor and make needed changes to existing interfaces/processes imposed by Service (e.g. Avalara Tax service)
  • Monitor and respond to any changes in environment necessitated by Network and Security functions
  • Maintain Billing process and application documentation
  • Maintain continuity plans re: team leavers and starters
  • Support Accounting Team Billing cycle support work.
• oRegular preparation of various datasets and environments
• oUnderstand and follow checklists used to coordinate Billing activities
• oDebug/correct Billing cycle workflow issues
  • Make code and environment updates required to correct or improve existing legacy applications
  • Support ongoing Billing system refactoring to force.com platform
  • Previous telecom domain experience a plus

  • Proven leadership capability
  • Proven ability to work collegially with Accounting during Billing cycle activities
  • Ability to understand and actively work Billing cycle workflows, including accommodating small problems, process restarts, etc.
  • Ability to work independently while also knowing when to escalate problems immediately to senior team lead(s) for resolution
  • Previous telecom experience
  What Will Put You Ahead: (experience & education preferred) Technical Qualifications
  • Experience in writing and maintaining scripting languages e.g. Python
  • Experience in both Linux and Windows environments
• oExperience with server-level environment
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience
