The Role: Automation Associate

Job Summary - Automation Associate, Data Transformation

An Automation Associate you will be empowered to drive a portfolio of automation projects that will deliver business results. You will be working for the Market Intelligence division but empowered to work across the 4 divisions at S&P as a part of the Data Transformation team, and will be using RPA and other automation tools to build and deliver end to end automation solutions.

The Data Transformation team's mission is to drive this automation strategy across S&P Global and help create a truly digital workplace.

What we're looking for?

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Person will be responsible for all the aspects of running the day-to-day process on Blue Prism RPA platform
  • Person will be responsible for end to end automation project development
  • Perform the supporting the first level resolutions and coordinate with Business team and other stake holders as applicable to solve the issues
  • First level point of contact for all the RPA support related activities
  • Leading and handling Change and Maintenance requests for deployed bots
  • Daily scheduling and administration of the Blue Prism live environment & control room operations running processes, Digital workers (BOTs), maintaining resource PCs, viewing logs, successful cases and exceptions, management of SLA and productivity etc
  • First level point of contact for all the RPA support related activities
  • Managing, investigating, and finding resolution of exceptions (Business and System Exceptions) report through BOTs
  • Logging and escalating issues to relevant teams, provide viable workarounds to resolve incidents.
Preferred Qualification
  • 4 - 6 years of experience with 2 - 3 years in the RPA/Automation space
  • Should be Blue Prism Developer Certified
  • Technically sound candidate with hands on experience in RPA framework, Preferably Blue Prism tool
  • Developer Certification in UI Path will be an added advantage
  • Proficiency in development languages used by leading RPA vendors (.NET/VB, VBA/PowerShell, or C#)
  • Proficiency in python coding to augment automation projects
  • Experience in data analytics to describe, diagnose, and predict business outcomes based on large data sets.
  • Experience in visualization tools such as Power BI/ Tableau
  • Experience in deployment and management of applications utilizing cloud-based infrastructure
  • Excellent presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with senior executives, IT Management, and developers
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment
  • Ability to work in a cross functional, multi geographic teams displaying cultural sensitivity and championing diversity & inclusion
