The Role Responsibilities
Business

  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders, manage conflicting requirements and gain consensus on the best way forwards.
  • Pragmatic approach, able to simplify processes and implement lean techniques.
  • Analyse and review functional and non functional requirements.
  • Build a testing team of professionals with appropriate skills, attitudes and motivation.
  • Defines and maintains Testing standards and controls.
Processes
  • Design performance test scenarios and scripts.
  • Develop tools to assist performance testing.
  • Design automated performance test suite.
  • Conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability.
People and Talent
  • Build a team of competent and right skilled resources for delivering test projects efficiently.
  • Manage test resources to ensure highest level of engagement possible.
  • Responsible for staff management aspects, inclusive of recruitment, talent development, knowledge retention, etc.
  • Provides regular communication and training to test teams in respect to standards and processes.

  • Advanced proficiency for Analytical And Problem Solving and Communication.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.   • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

  • Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree
Certification
  • ISTQB, CSQA, CSM, PMP and Scrum Master
Role Specific Technical Competencies
  • Good knowledge in banking domain
  • Experience in design and implementation of Test Automation Framework
  • Hands-on experience in developing Test Automation suite using Java / .NET, Cucumber and Selenium
  • Experience in Continuous Integration tool - Jenkins / Hudson
  • Experience / Knowledge in Version Control systems like Git, CVS, Subversion, etc
  • Knowledge in Test Automation Design patterns like PageObject Model, PageObject Factory, etc
  • Experience in writing SQLs / PL-SQL
