Job Summary
As a Test SME, the person will be responsible for testing Global Fund Services Applications within Client Banks portfolio. The SME is responsible for interacting with Global IT, Business and Operations teams to provide a high quality of product to the internal and external clients and meet the agreed and expected service standards. The job role may involve management, coordination or contribution to one, few or all phases of STLC i.e. Test Planning, Design, Execution, Defect Management and Reporting.

The SME will perform UAT/SIT testing activities for Global Fund Services applications across
different functions of the bank and should be flexible to work in shifts.

Testing Skills
Exposure to structured software development lifecycle methodologies, preferably agile models
Ability to transform requirements to Business Scenarios & Requirement Traceability Matrix
Ability to create Test artifacts like Test Cases, scripts etc.
Expert in Testing Tool JIRA & HP Application Lifecycle Management
Experience in different types of testing like functional, regression, black box testing etc.
Ability to manage E2E Testing, Defect Management and Reporting
Sound knowledge of Test Automation tools like Selenium, UFT, QTP etc.
Ability to Automate test scripts

Domain Competencies
Extensive knowledge of Investment Banking Business
Profound understanding of trade lifecycle and financial Instruments especially on exchange-traded fund (ETF)
Capability to support the team of Product Business Analysts
Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)

Primary Responsibilities
Perform functional test analysis, planning, design, execution and reporting for testing assignments
For the specific testing project, support the Project Manager(s) and Test Manager by contributing to the Test Plan(s) for the relevant test phases, the Test Readiness Reviews, test progress reporting, the Test Completion/Summary Reports and Test Defect Reports
Prepare where required: Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Scripts, and Test Data for a given testing assignment
Work closely with the stakeholders or other groups in preparation and execution of the planned functional testing
Play a lead role in the analysis and reporting of test results, working closely with business, technology and support areas to investigate and interpret test findings
Develop and extend collaborative working relationships with technology suppliers and operational support areas in order to quickly understand requirements, resolve problems/issues, suggest solutions and identify areas for service improvement
Participate in peer reviews
Track the schedule and testing progress and be accountable for the tasks and releases
Manage triage calls with technology & operations
Ensure accurate and timely execution of the assigned tasks
Highlight and track defects and ensure that they are fixed before project implementation
Act as a back up of test lead

Qualification & Experience
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Commerce
4-7 years of experience in testing lifecycle in Investment Banking domain
Minimum 4 years of hands on experience in Securities and Fund Services domain

Desirable -
Knowledge on Middle Office, Fund Accounting, Pricing, Transfer Agency, Collateral & Reconciliation functions
ISTQB or equivalent testing certifications
Experience in application like Multifonds, InvestOne, FSR, MOM, MOTO & Calypso is an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of SQL Developer and Macros
Experience in Resource Management
Education: Any Graduate
