Job Description

:

Candidate will work with the Basel reporting team on the external and internal reporting process, with primary focus on quarterly reports that support the U.S. Capital Rules (Basel III), may also contribute to other daily/monthly reporting process and data analysis to support the team. In addition, the responsibilities include:

• Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory reporting best practices
• With guidance from senior team members, perform daily, monthly and quarterly reporting responsibilities ensuring accuracy and correctness
• Prepare reconciliation reports, detailed analytics and period-over-period variance analysis supporting the Regulatory filings
• Prepare regulatory reporting schedules and other ad hoc analytics
• Builds strong working relationship with the entire regulatory reporting team across multiple locations
• Prepare process documentations and advocate for continuous improvement of work processes
• Participate in UAT testing of reporting software and reporting solutions
• Responsibilities are primarily specialized to address the external reporting management needs. However, tasks often produce cross-regional impacts. Modified based upon local regulations/requirements

Qualifications

The preferred candidate should have qualifications described below.

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
• B.Com. / B.A. with Accounting concentration or equivalent experience is preferred
• 5 to 7 years of experience in external reporting.
• Experience in regulatory reporting with knowledge of U.S. Capital Rules (Basel III) and bank financial products
• C.P.A. and knowledge of GAAP is preferred
• Knowledge of Regulatory reporting solutions would be preferable
