This is what #LifeAtBNYMellon is all about. We\xe2\x80\x99re seeking a future team member for the role of EMEA Legal Entity Forecasting Specialist to join our , External Reporting team. This role is in Chennai, TN \xe2\x80\x93 HYBRID. In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Forecasting \xe2\x80\x93 Deliver the UK & Ireland legal entity annual financial plans and semi-annual reforecasts. Lead financial plan review meetings with senior stakeholders. Manage relationships with financial controllers. Work closely with controllers on budget inputs, assumptions, and strategies.
  • Oversight & Controls \xe2\x80\x93 Ensure end to end process meets operational control environment and governance requirements. Maintain review checklists, assumptions document, version control logs and reconciliations. Own Finance Control Initiatives and ensure any change is rolled out consistently across the team.
  • Data Provision \xe2\x80\x93 Work with the Lines of Business to ensure their global Plan is fit for purpose at a legal entity level. Lead review sessions with the Lines of Business and feedback recommendations from Legal Entity Controllers. Ensure initiatives are reported consistently across all legal entities.
  • Change - Drive continuous change and improvement every plan cycle. Work with Finance systems team to automate processes and improve data quality.
To be successful in this role, we\xe2\x80\x99re seeking the following:
  • Qualified Accountant with ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA Full Accreditation or equivalent, with proven post qualified experience.
  • Experience of compiling and reviewing financial statements and strong understanding of Balance Sheet and Income Statement and interactions.
  • Broad understanding of the Lines of Business and products across EMEA
  • Strong budgeting and forecasting modelling experience.
  • Well-structured and organised with the ability to lead tasks and work effectively in a multi-located team environment.
  • MAQ and TM1 experience desirable.
  • Track record in process improvement, change management and controls experience in a global banking environment.
