ABOUT UNIOPS: Unilever Operations (UniOps) is the global technology and operations engine of Unilever offering business services, technology, and enterprise solutions. This change is focusing on (1) manufacturing & quality transformation in Unilever factories, (2) supporting a partnership ecosystem for Collaborative Manufacturers & Supply Partners, and (3) building capabilities for consumer insights. The Supply Chain Transformation is expected to enable - Improved agility and customer centricity across end-to-end manufacturing and supply chains through facilitation of faster recognition of customer preferences and feedback. This, in turn, will allow quicker adjustments to manufacturing flows at next-generation smart factories to allow higher levels of customization. A competitive edge through supply-chain resilience - thereby requiring connected, reconfigurable supply ecosystems. Speed and productivity through increased levels of automation and workforce augmentation coupled with upskilling and reskilling effort. Being cost-efficient and resource-efficient, to boost growth and support investment. And an operating model & practices that will enable technology to unlock this. In addition, the Quality and Safety functions are horizontals that extend across the Unilever. They extend beyond the four walls of the factory into Supplier & Marketplace quality and Occupational Safety for the entire organization. Purpose of the Role: The Digital Manufacturing Landscape Manager will be responsible for overseeing the management and coordination of IT environments, including development, testing, staging, and production environments. You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, availability, and integrity of our IT systems and environments throughout their lifecycle. Key Accountabilities & Activities Environment Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy and roadmap for managing IT environments. Collaborate with Solution Architects to define environment requirements, prioritize initiatives, and align them with the organization\'s IT goals and objectives. Environment Provisioning and Configuration: Coordinate the provisioning and configuration of development, testing, staging, and production environments. Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and development teams to ensure environments are properly set up, including server configurations, network connectivity, security controls, and application deployments. Environment Monitoring and Performance: Implement monitoring tools and processes to proactively monitor the health, performance, and capacity of IT environments. Identify and address potential issues or bottlenecks and optimize environment performance to ensure high availability and reliability. Environment Change and Release Management: Collaborate with the Change Management and Release Management teams to ensure proper planning, testing, and deployment of changes and releases to IT environments. Coordinate with stakeholders to minimize disruptions, maintain version control, and enforce change management policies and procedures. Environment Security and Compliance: Enforce security controls and best practices to protect IT environments from unauthorized access, data breaches, and vulnerabilities. Collaborate with the Information Security team to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards. Environment Incident and Problem Management: Coordinate the resolution of environment-related incidents and problems. Work closely with support teams to investigate and resolve issues, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures to minimize future incidents. Environment Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of environment configurations, IT tool configurations, workflows, setups, and procedures. Generate reports on environment performance, incidents, and changes. Provide regular updates to IT leadership on the status and health of IT environments. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains within environment management. Drive initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance the overall effectiveness of environment management practices. Essential Azure Cloud (Virtual Networks, Storage, Databricks etc) Azure Devops Azure Functions/Webapps Sonar Kubernetes Application Life Cycle Management Cloud (IaaS, SaaS and PaaS) Management Infrastructure Change Management Agile methodology ITIL management. Edge Technologies (IoT Hub, Event Hub, Stack Edge/Hyper Converged Infrastructure) Desirable Skills Experience in working with or leading geographically distributed teams. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing. Strong organizational skills, including an ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands for resources. Understanding of Supply Chain processes.
