The Supply Chain Transformation is expected to enable - Improved agility and customer centricity across end-to-end manufacturing and supply chains through facilitation of faster recognition of customer preferences and feedback. This, in turn, will allow quicker adjustments to manufacturing flows at next-generation smart factories to allow higher levels of customization. A competitive edge through supply-chain resilience - thereby requiring connected, reconfigurable supply ecosystems. They extend beyond the four walls of the factory into Supplier & Marketplace quality and Occupational Safety for the entire organization. Purpose of the Role: The Digital Manufacturing Platform Landscape Asst. Manager will be responsible for overseeing the management and coordination of IT environments, including development, testing, staging, and production environments. You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, availability, and integrity of our IT systems and environments throughout their lifecycle. Key Accountabilities & Activities OTIF Delivery of BAU: Accountable for delivery of BAU deliverables by the team ensuring timeliness and accuracy as per the agreed and signed SLAs. Responsible for adherence to Unilever Control and compliance policies. Operations management: Review and ensure that the standard operating procedures (SOP) and Flow charts are being followed in the operational process, and that the issue logs maintained by the team are addressed. Process Simplification and Optimisation: Drive process improvements for simplification and standardization. Evaluate existing systems and find opportunities for improvements that make impacts to design/Cost and performance. Team and Performance Management: Lead and develop a team comprising of 5+ members. Responsible for the performance management, capability development. Mentor team on continuous improvement which will includes - Improved ways of working Simplification and Standardization Design Thinking and Agile Scrum training Stakeholder management: Ensure adherence to SLA and drive user satisfaction. Engage with global stakeholders through regular customer governance calls for BAU (Business as Usual) deliveries including review of customer scorecards, understand customer feedback and incorporate them back in the BAU processes. Transition of operational processes and change management: Co-ordinate the transition of operations/reports/processes from business users to the UniOps team with thorough review of the E2E operations, developing local capabilities and collaborating with various stakeholders for opportunities for automation/simplification. Essential 6-7 years of overall work experience with a strong background in below mentioned areas. Azure Cloud (Virtual Networks, Storage, Databricks etc) Azure Devops Azure Functions/Webapps Sonar Kubernetes Application Life Cycle Management Cloud (IaaS, SaaS and PaaS) Management Infrastructure Change Management Agile methodology ITIL management. Edge Technologies (IoT Hub, Event Hub, Stack Edge/Hyper Converged Infrastructure) Desirable Skills Experience in working with or leading geographically distributed teams. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing. Strong organizational skills, including an ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands for resources. Understanding of Supply Chain processes.
