Job Description
Our client is looking to hire a process engineering expert in solar ingots and wafer industry.
This position is based in Western part of India. Reporting into Process - Head, you will be responsible for handling the process function for a GW scale Mono Crystalline Ingot-Wafer Manufacturing Plant. Your key responsibilities will be as follows:
- Monitoring defined process quality, process parameters of Ingot-wafer line tools in production line.
- Enabling the cost reduction and yield improvement projects. Understanding the various defect reduction ways in wafer - Ingot fabrication
- Taking care of the process integration for new technologies incorporating into the line time to time
- Setting up of all process lab tools and ensure their proper functioning, contact with vendor/OEMs whenever required.
- Understanding the root cause /FMEA / SPC / 7 QC tools analysis of process/Production/Quality Issues associated with Ingot Production line
- Implementing of quality standards and structured process/internal process control for manufacturing operation of equipment and standard products to ensure accomplishment of business goals
- Developing standards and operating procedure for equipment
- Preparing of Process MIS and Analysis on CTQ Parameters and Wafer- Ingot performance
- Implementing of TQM Concept on Shop Floor like 5S
A successful candidate is an engineer with 3+ years of experience in the Solar/Ingot industry and possess in depth knowledge of various engineering materials, process technology development for advanced silicon wafer manufacturing and knowledge of Silicon Crystal growth techniques and Silicon PV value Chain. They have prior experience of working with cross functional teams and have good communication and presentation skills.
