• Program Manager(Software) \xe2\x80\x93 Utility Digital Solutions role will be responsible for successful execution of New Product Introduction (NPI), New Technology Introduction(NTI), Technology Exploration Projects primarily focused on Software/Firmware/connected product development.
• This is an excellent opportunity for a servant leader to coach and mentor scrum teams and align with other Scrum Masters within the Utility segment.
• The candidate must be proficient in Agile methodologies, SW development Lifecycles and working with teams of varying Agile experience and maturity.
• The incumbent should have hands on experience on aligning multiple software releases and proven track record of capturing dependencies from multiple software teams.
• The Program Manager (Software) will bring together Business Leaders, Product owners, Software developers, Scrum Masters, Software Quality Assurance test team to align on all deliverables needed to meet our customer needs.
• This person will be interacting with an enterprise software team, a cloud SaaS team, and embedded software teams using Jira, Jira Advanced Roadmaps, and Confluence to align on dependencies, acceptance criteria, and accountability.
• This role will assist in leading the Scaled Agile transition within the organization.

Qualifications:

Requirement \xe2\x80\x93

• B.E. / B Tech / M Tech,
• 10 Years + of experience
• Software Project Management, Jira, Confluence,ERP based project tracking tools, Microsoft Project Plan, PowerBI, Scrum, Scaled Agile, Capacity planning and forecasting
• Strong Communicator, Team work and collaboration skills, mentoring and coaching, critical thinking, change managementManages the complex New Product Introduction (NPI), New Technology Introduction (NTI), Technology Exploration projects.
• Responsibility, Authority and Accountability (RAA) for project scope delivery and successful execution within technical, schedule, cost and quality commitments on division.Ensure standard program management processes are utilized and adequate support to the project team by coordinating PM reviews, preparing & publishing PM metrics and reports.
• Establishes objectives and goals and provides direction to the project teams in areas of customer concerns, potential changes in scope and risk assessment
• Manage effective stakeholder communications. Improve organization responsiveness to customer requirements. Communication and manage customer expectations and contractual commitments internal to the business
• Maintain metrics for project for multiple software projects by owning and maintaining proPM (central project management repository), ensuring timely update and management reporting including, scope, accomplishments, highlights, lowlights, risk, financials etc..
• Coordinates all risks and requirements of the project. This is accomplished by planning, controlling, integrating all project activities and deliverables and measuring all elements to ensure the requirements and goals are successfully achieved.
• Provides periodic project updates (Program Status Report \xe2\x80\x93 Green/Yellow/Red) of current situation relating to contractual milestones and problem/high risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule). Provides updates to the business units as well as divisional levels.

Skills:

• Manage effective stakeholder and team communications. Improve organization responsiveness to customer requirements. Communication and manage customer expectations and contractual commitments internal to the business. Ensure effective change management process is utilized
• Mentor Agile teams on best practices and quality of user stories; Drive requirements meetings with product owners and work with business analysts, Embedded software architects, and other scrum masters to break down and load user stories
• Align the multiple software release dependencies with other Embedded/Non-Embedded software platforms to insure coverage and acceptance criteria
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to include product owners from multiple product teams, Embedded Dev-QA teams, business analysts, software quality assurance, and DevOps teams
• Having technical knowledge (APIs, device mgmt., IoT, etc.) and understanding systems.
