We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Engineer in Test responsible for documenting test plans and test cases, testing of subsystems and system components based on requirements specification and constraints, and ensuring product quality and coverage.
Primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing test cases to verify functionality, data integrity, security, and overall usability of the solution
• Preparing thorough execution/run plans
• Coordinating with Business and Sprint teams
• Identifying/preparing regression test cases
• Reporting Bugs in TFS with details to replicate and isolate, highlighting impact
• Providing recommendations for how to improve test cases and applying approved recommendations
• Owning quality deliverables, adhering to acceptance criteria and Definition of Done
• Owning quality test cases following standards and best practices, considering efficiency, re-usability, and optimization, avoiding duplication

The Candidate: Required skills/qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical discipline or equivalent demonstrable experience
• 3-4 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
• Strong understanding of software projects and applications
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle/Agile
• Understanding of .NET technology and cloud technologies
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel)
• Knowledge of testing automation
• Knowledge of Microsoft Test Manager
• Exposure to multiple software development lifecycles
• Strong communication skills (oral & written)
• Strong team player and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn
• Takes accountability and self-motivated

We have an office in one of the biggest cultural, economic, and educational centers in South India: Chennai.

• Located on OMR, the IT corridor of South Chennai
