Anthology’s Integration team focuses on building solutions that would ensure smooth integration between the products of Anthology and also with applications from clients’ side. Using both industry standard and cutting-edge technologies, our team develop innovative, custom solutions that extend, enhance, and integrate Anthology’s enterprise products. As a Software Engineer in Test on this team, you will play an integral role in the success of the Integration team within Anthology. A successful candidate will be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and implement software solutions.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as an expert in Anthology’s products, including their functionality and performance
  • Performing End to end testing to ensure the quality of the applications
  • Building automated tests to perform functional testing and regression testing
  • Working in an agile environment to ensure quality and on time deliveries
  • Involving in QA planning
  • Researching and experimenting with new technology that will advance future projects
  • Adhering to established delivery methodology, quality standards and best practices


The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience building automated test frameworks and test suites for web applications
  • Experience creating and executing performance tests
  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript programming languages
  • Experience with Selenium Web Driver including writing and debugging tests and knowledge of the Page Object Model
  • Capable of configuring and supporting test environments for automation or manual test development and execution
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), analytical and organizational
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies as needed.
  • Ability to work in a geographically distributed virtual team environment and to build relationships with internal and external organizations
  • Time management and prioritization skills, and ability to manage expectations effectively when handling multiple assignments simultaneously with competing deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail, excellent work ethic and drive, great interpersonal skills, team oriented, and demonstrated problem-solving skills


Preferred skills/qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the education or knowledge management industry and e-learning technologies
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git/Stash/GitHub and Perforce
  • Fundamental understanding of key usages of Confluence, Jira Bug Tracking, Jira Agile (GreenHopper) and versioning and repository systems
