About the team:

There are billions of FAQs floating around all over the internet. But at the core FAQ is just rich text with some sprinkled media. The Phoenix team is rethinking how FAQs and Help-Centres should actually work in this new day and age. We\'re bringing dynamism and personalisation to FAQs to help solve customer\'s problems in the help-centre within seconds. Your work will be on both the consumer side and on the administration side to bring this vision to reality.

About the role:

• Work with the rest of the team in developing product features that get delivered to 1000\'s of customer service representatives worldwide.
• Write code and review other people\'s code.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimise application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with your team to define, design and ship new features.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and test coverage.
• Keep calm and learn every day.

Projects you may work on:

• Building dynamic articles framework.
• Making Helpshift a better CMS platform.
• Complete revamp of the Help-centre

Requirements:

About you:

• 4 + years of experience in writing client-side JavaScript.
• Proficient understanding of modern web tech stack including HTML5, CSS3 and ES6.
• Good understanding of ReactJS and Flux.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Babel, and Gulp.
• Knowledge of frontend optimisation techniques and tools (eg. Lighthouse).Proficient with Git (or equivalent).
• Experienced in writing Unit, Functional & Regression tests.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Handy with the shell and automation tools.
• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).

Nice to have:

• Experience in CSS frameworks like SASS, Tailwind.
• Experience in working with Large frontend applications
