What\'s the Opportunity?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join Upland India as a Senior Software Engineer II (Front-End) for our Upland Second Street product. The individual will work with our front-end development team.

What would you do?

• Develop, test and maintain Ember.js Front-End
• Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborating with other developers and team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code to enhance the user experience and support analytical products
• Troubleshoot and diagnose production issues
• Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members
• Take lead on projects as needed
• Jump in and help the team deliver features when it is required
• Balance technical debt vs. feature development vs. supporting customers

What are we looking for?
To be part of this journey, you must have an experience of 7 - 9 years in the below mentioned areas.

Technical Skills

The following skills are needed for this role.

Experience

\xc2\xb7 7-9 years in Front end framework (Angular/React/Javascript)

\xc2\xb7 At least 4+ years in Ember.js 3.15 or later

Primary Skills

\xc2\xb7 Ember.js 3.15 or later

\xc2\xb7 CSS including flexbox, grid, and transitions

\xc2\xb7 Comfortable writing automated tests alongside features and bug fixes

Secondary Skills (nice to have)

\xc2\xb7 RESTful JSON API (.NET C#)

\xc2\xb7 SQL Server Databases Skill

\xc2\xb7 Node.js, TypeScript, and ES2020

\xc2\xb7 SVG and/or D3.js

\xc2\xb7 Experience with agile methodologies, especially Kanban

Soft Skills

Qualification

Bachelor\'s degree or technical institute degree/certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience.

This role requires overlap with multiple time zones for planning meetings, status updates etc. on a regular basis. The duration of these overlaps can change depending on the type of meeting.
