Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Develop test scripts using test automation framework and maintenance.
- Ensure proper version control and maintenance of test scripts developed and test environments used.
- Deploy test scripts on a test farm.
- Use debugging tools and techniques to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Familiarity with SDLC and test methodology including test-data management, bug reporting and resolution.
- Work closely with the QA and Product Development group to get inputs on the product and approach for automation.
- Work with the QA team to get the priority / requirements and to update and maintain the test scripts.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferably Computer Sc / Electronics / Information Technology
- Years of Experience - 3 to 5 years
- Need to have good knowledge on SDLC & testing concepts.
- Strong scripting /Programing skills with any language with strong OOPS concepts.
- Automate testcases for new features/ regression test suite
- Perform deployment of automated scripts for software releases
- Strong debugging skills
- Knowledge on automation framework
- Awareness of source control tools like GIT, Jenkins
- Knowledge of C & C++, Python
- Exposure to any scripting language like Perl/ Python etc.
- Customer support experience in resolving software issues
- Experience in testing methods like GUI, Functional, Integration, Regression, and System and Performance Testing
