About the Business Unit:

The Enterprise Content Management (ECM) team at Springer Nature, Pune is responsible for delivering solutions related to Journals and Books Publishing and Production Systems for Scientific, Technical and Medical Publishers (STM Publishers) & Education Publishers around the world. Our teams incorporate latest technologies built upon OpenText Documentum/ xCP Test Automation Framework to streamline, automate production workflows, and maintain metadata for Springer Nature; this helps us to continuously improve business response time and revenue stream. Every project is implemented in a distributed agile environment while continuously collaborating with customers stationed at various locations around the world.

Job Title: Software Developer

Job Type: Permanent

Job Location: Tower 9, Magarpatta City, Pune (Work in Hybrid Model)

Years of Experience: 3 to 5 years

Education Qualifications: B.Sc., BCA, BCS, B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA and M.Sc.

Core tasks:

? Developing, optimizing and maintaining the frontend SCSS framework.
? Translating designs to web pages and mobile applications.
? Ensure accessibility and WCAG compliance.
? Coach, help and support other teams in the use of the framework.

You will be...

? You will work in close collaboration with the UI lead, teaming up with her in continuously improving the frontend framework.
? You will work in close collaboration with the UX designers, not only translating designs to web pages, but also discussing insights, opportunities and best-practices.
? You will be working with the Mendix low code framework.
? You will be trained to be a certified Mendix business engineer.

Role.
Must-have:

? Excellent communication skills in English.
? Proven experience -with portfolio and code to review- as a skilled UI developer.
? Proven in depth knowledge of- and experience with SASS/SCSS frameworks.
? Knowledge of SASS/SCSS, JavaScript, Webpack, Gulp or Grunt and GIT

Good to have:

? Knowledge of Accessibility standards(e.g. WCGA and others) -both in design as in attribute management- is considered as a plus
? Experience with analytics tools like GA or HotJar is considered as a plus.
? Experience with Mendix or other low code platforms is considered as a plus
? Experience with Vue/React/angular or other Javascript frameworks is considered as a plus.
