Are you our next Social Media and Content Manager, someone who can produce and distribute compelling and creative on-demand social content to grow and expand our brand presence?Common Purpose is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1989 that develops leaders who can cross boundaries. This enables them to solve complex problems both in organizations and in cities. - Inclusion and equity are at our core. We deliver in-person and online leadership programmes for multiple generations of leaders, from students in universities to senior leaders in organizations and society, supporting them to develop the knowledge, skills and inspiration to cross boundaries and become more active and engaged citizens.The roleWe are currently looking for a dynamic and ambitious professional to join us as Social Media and Content Manager, based in India. Working with our central Brand, Communications and Product Team you will have responsibility for developing and producing engaging, informative and purpose driven content for our Social Media platforms, website, email marketing campaigns and sales teams that focuses on building our brand. You will also play a key role in growing our brand presence, audience and reach on various channels through innovative engagement tactics, creative content and data driven analytics. Working with teams and departments across the organization you will have the amazing opportunity to design and deliver effective communication strategies and campaigns.As our Social Media and Content Manager, you will:

  • Create informative, engaging and thought-provoking content for use across all of our communications channels
  • Manage a pipeline of content including video, photo and written stories and testimonials from across the organization (alumni, employers, funders, delivery partners, contributors, participants etc.) for use in multichannel campaigns
  • Create larger content projects that showcase our brand and our thought leadership
  • Build and manage our social media channels so they are fit to purpose and convey the Common Purpose brand in engaging, edgy and effective ways
  • Manage the planning and delivery of content across channels that brings the Common Purpose brand to life
  • Work with our brand assets and maintain brand quality standards as well as analyse and resolve any related branding issues promptly
  • Manage and optimize our Paid Social to deliver against our KPIs
  • Coach other teams and staff on the effective use of Social Media
  • Track and use analytics tools (e.g. Facebook Insights; LinkedIn Analytics; Social listening tools) to monitor, report and make recommendations on communications and campaign efforts
You will bring the following experience with you:
  • Knowledge and understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premier Pro (or similar)
  • Experience of photography, videography, post-production (including editing, titles, sound, grade), graphic design
  • Excellent copy writing and storytelling skills
  • Experience in digital content development and production with emphasis in directing and producing video content
  • Evidence of creative thinking in your content creation
  • Able to show leadership content in understandable and meaningful ways
  • Able to demonstrate an influencer approach to gathering content across the organization and building communities on our channels.
  • Curious and inquisitive at your core
  • Good time management and self-organization skills - with the flexibility to flex and pivot in a high growth and pace environment
  • Excellent written English, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly accurate with exceptional attention to detail
  • A collaborative team-player, while also able to work well independently
  • A portfolio of work that supports your experience
  • Must be willing to travel when required

  • A competitive salary of between ?1,100,000 to ?1,300,000 per annum dependent on experience
