Role Summary

Our Digital Marketing Insights team delivers cutting-edge marketing, strategic, and consumer insights to global marketing and communications teams. The business model is based on an on-site and offshore relationship model with India as a critical delivery and operations center. We work with a wide variety of industries with our premium clients coming in from Healthcare, FMCG, and Financial sector.

The social media Listening Analyst will design, conduct, and deliver standard and custom social media reports. The analyst will convert this into constructed queries that will monitor social conversation for internal teams as well as competitive brands, programs, products, marketing campaigns and events. He or she dives deep into the data to uncover drivers of social buzz, then translates the data into a compelling story. The Analyst will be accountable for deciphering what is important, meaningful data and then communicating the concise story in a way that allows the business to make decisions based off the reports.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in social media listening.
  • Strong Strategic understanding of Social Listening from a business perspective.
  • Strong familiarity and understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, Forums, and Instagram is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to transform data into a concise, yet compelling story.
  • Ability to synthesize information and produce insightful and accurate analyses and recommendations.
  • Hands-on experience on cross-channel Social Media Listening.
  • Skilled user of MS Office Suite (Office 365 applications) including Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Marketing education background (MBA).
  • Should be extremely flexible to work from 9 am to 11 pm shift, depending upon business need.
  • Relevant experience pulling data from social media listening/analytics tools such as Talkwalker, Salesforce Social Studio, Brandwatch (good to have) etc.

Job Responsibilities

  • Social listening tool setup including keywords, query parameters, and dashboards.
  • Take initiative on the refinement of query parameter setup to ensure accurate and insightful mention analysis is available to report on by the end of the reporting period.
  • Pull and interpret data from social listening tools including volume, sentiment, conversation drivers, influencers, etc.
  • Listen and monitor what the audience is discussing about a brand or technology on the social media platforms.
  • Data Analysis, Data interpretation, Consumer Insights, Business Intelligence, Content Strategy.
  • Evaluate important metrics that affect the required websites traffic and target audience.
  • Innovation and Problem Solving for continuous improvement of current process.
  • Should be a quick learner and be able to train new resources in the team.
  • Develop, Conduct, and Interpret analytics solutions using data from Social Listening tools including volume, sentiment, conversation drivers, influencers etc.
  • Create and edit reporting deliverables for PowerPoint and Excel formats that transform social data into a clear story. Visualize findings legibly using charts, tables, and infographics, and provide actionable insights based on concrete data.
  • Monitor recurring or on ad-hoc basis social listening requests to address the business objectives.
