Job Description

a)Minimum of 13 years working with Intellectual Property b)1. Should have experience in team management of atleast 3 years 2.Should have experience in patent search databases such as Derwent Innovation, Orbit, etc. and on various analytics methodologies (novelty search, FTO, invalidation, technology search) and patent classification 3.Experience in Electric Vehicle hardware/software, Vehicular wireless communication systems, vehicular software architecture, connected cars, Battery system, ADAS, Telematics, Vehicle charging system, etc. Preferably from OEM/ law firm/ KPO a)To educate, motivate engineers on creation and protection of intellectual property and conduct ideation workshops b)To work closely with R&D engineers for exploring approaches and interview strategies for inventors\' interview c)Exploratory searches: reviewing the searches and support the team in identifying relevant patents filed by third party. d)Decision making and identifying innovations worth patenting, considering prior art also, deciding major features to be covered in techno-legal aspects of invention e)Working directly with law firms in strategizing arguments for FER and hearing with law firms f)Understand business impact of IP in business environment and proactively taking decision g)Develop and execute the strategies to attain the goals of the team and shareholders h)Communicate and maintain trust in dealing with law firm, attorneys, inventors, and other stake holders 1.Ensure company IP objectives are communicated within the team and that they are always followed 2.Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of team by providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance 3.Effective time management to delivery output, specifically under challenging situations 4. Proficiency in working on excel and PowerPoint. 5. Effective communication skills oral as well as written 6. Should have ability to analyze data both quantitatively and/or qualitatively and present analysis reports to the R&D management with quality standard. 7. Should have good understanding of Indian Patenting system. 8.Should have attitude to proactively develop understanding of diverse technology areas apart from his / her technical background and strong interpersonal skills
