DESCRIPTIONThe Control Room Specialist - CMRS (Centralized Monitoring and Response System) position serves as operational resource to support the Security Command Center for ATS. This position will act as a shift in charge and provide support and accountability for the overall deliverables of the command center. The control room will be functional 24/7, hence this position will require to work in shift and during weekends.About CMRS
Centralized Monitoring & Response System (CMRS) is designed to replace mitigating physical/manual controls against identified risks associated with People, Assets and Information of Amazon operations. The CMRS will monitor sites remotely and assist in loss prevention and ensuring process compliance.Key Responsibilities include:
Responsible for providing comprehensive program security guidance concerning personnel, physical, operational, technical and information security issues
Track the deliverables of the CMRS team, work closely with the third party team and provide feedback.
Create, implement, communicate, and manage security requirements while providing day-to-day multi-discipline security operations support.
Proactively identify physical security requirements, problems, and sound solutions to successfully sustain and enhance the security of program execution
Must be willing to share on-call rotations in support of alarms, security incidents, and critical service outages.
Enhance, track, and report on metrics which are key performance indicators, allowing performance improvements so that the desired outcomes are achieved to plan and in a timely manner
Effectively partner with internal customers in evaluating current and future security services, processes and initiatives
Coordinate data collection, through database polling or data entry, from multiple FCs; and conduct analysis generating strategic and tactical interpretations
Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, training and documentation
Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all key CMRS goals and metrics
Maintain standard operating procedures, emergency response procedures, and preventive maintenance programs.
Effectively address loss mitigation, physical security considerations, potential and actual work place violence incidents per policy as well as conduct testing of the incident response plans
Reviewing incident reports, documenting periodic trend summaries, and providing updates and recommended actions to management.Key job responsibilities

2+ years of experience in control room management, law enforcement, loss prevention, risk management, supply chain management, or other related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Good critical thinking skills and attention to detail
Experience with security equipment such as intrusion detection devices, access control systems, and video review systemPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience handling workplace violence situations
Be solutions-focused, customer-focused, and always deliver excellent follow-up.
Awareness and implementation of best practices related to the utilization of physical security systems, investigation techniques, effective oversight of contract security officers, and distribution center loss mitigation techniques
Comfortable working in a fast-paced ambiguous environment
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
