We hire the brightest minds by offering them an environment in which they can relentlessly improve the experience for our customers through innovation and creativity.Objective : The primary objective of the Security & Loss Prevention(SLP) Manager is to provide physical security services, carry out investigation, manage crisis/ emergency situations and ensure asset protection in designated area of responsibility. The SLP Manager shall always endeavor to maintain customer satisfaction in accordance with Global Security guidelines and policies. The role is cross-functional and requires collaboration and influencing ability across business teams and corporate functions.Roles and Responsibilities: The following are general areas of responsibility for a SLP manager.
\xc2\xb7 Planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing and executing process and procedures laid down by the organization and the SLP function.
\xc2\xb7 Identify, analyze and prevent inventory shrink/ loss in the defined areas of responsibility.
\xc2\xb7 Identify the potential theft area and work closely with the concerned stake holders to mitigate the causes of theft.
\xc2\xb7 Ensure optimum utilization of the resources to maintain high quality and timely support to business teams.
\xc2\xb7 Should be able conduct risk assessment for the respective sites and work in accordance with the global security policies and guidelines.
\xc2\xb7 Ability to independently handle emergency/crisis situations and secure people and assets.
\xc2\xb7 Contributes in supporting complex investigations into significant acts of wrongdoing against Amazon
\xc2\xb7 Maintains site Loss/shrink metrics including the compiling of regular management reports and has an active role in the maintenance and governance of the investigation reporting tools.
\xc2\xb7 Overseeing the planning, design, installation and ongoing maintenance of physical security measures to meet the operational needs and the risk management requirements.
\xc2\xb7 Implementing training and awareness improvement initiatives for various levels within operations and support functions.
\xc2\xb7 Supporting launches of new sites and ensuring adequate physical security measures are being installed to meet standards and risk management requirements in conjunction with the Global site security compliance and build books.
\xc2\xb7 Involve and prepare site security budgets.
\xc2\xb7 Monitoring the implementation and performance of security guarding services within the cluster.
\xc2\xb7 Effectively Engage with Law enforcement in matters related to crisis, investigation or loss prevention whilst adhering to all applicable laws.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Bangalore, KA, INDBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor\'s Degree or 5+ equivalent professional experience
- 2+ years of people management experience
- 3+ years of experience in control room management, law enforcement, loss prevention, risk management, supply chain management, or other related field
- Relevant work experience in data science, business analytics, business intelligence (BI), or comparable experience in big data environments
- Experience in data mining and dataset preparation using SQL
- Experience in data visualization tools like Tableau or Quicksight
- Experience writing scripts using Python
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Good critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- 3+ years of experience with security equipment such as intrusion detection devices, access control systems, and video review systemPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma concepts desired and certification
- Experience handling workplace violence situations
- Relevant work experience in data science, business analytics, business intelligence (BI), or comparable experience in big data environments
- Be solutions-focused, customer-focused, and always deliver excellent follow-up.
- Awareness and implementation of best practices related to the utilization of physical security systems, investigation techniques, effective oversight of contract security officers, and distribution center loss mitigation techniques
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced ambiguous environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
- Analytical leader experienced in performance based, action and results oriented management, strong project manager and effective problem-solver.
